My experience at Temple has been phenomenal overall! I'm in the Fox School of Business and I could not have asked for a better quality of education or professors! I feel once I graduate, I will be more than prepared to step out into the world. I like the fact Fox fosters independence, creativity, and innovation. They don't coddle you here at all and it really forces you to mature and find yourself. This is something I will be eternally grateful for. You will also never be bored at Temple either! There is always something going on and there's an abundance of clubs/extracurricular. There is literally something for everyone to get involved in. You also have the entire city of Philadelphia at your dispense as well!

So far, I love Temple University! At first, Temple was at the bottom my college list. I grew up in the suburbs and I was not so sure that I would feel comfortable or do well in the city. Also, Temple has a bad reputation from the perspective of a suburban person because many may assume that because of its location, Temple is a very dangerous and unsafe school to attend, however, I found out the exact opposite after visiting there and attending there. Temple University is one of the brightest parts of the city with street lights and people always on the street whether they are a local, a student or a cop. Temple has so much security it is more than enough. There are bike cops on just about every block, and blue security poles around campus that allow students to click a red button if they feel uncomfortable or in immediate danger and with the click of a button, a group of cops will come to the rescue (not exaggerating). The academics are top notch and the school that I attend, which is the fox business school, is rated in the top ten in the region. I fell in love with the city because everything is easy to access unlike the suburbs and the opportunities are endless.

I lived in James S. White Hall my freshman year of school. It was really nice compared to what you typically see in movies. It was a suite so we had our own bathroom and common area, which made it much more spacious and private than a communal setting. I was apart of the Resident Hall Association so I really got to see what the University wanted to do for Campus Housing. They were always planning social events and competitions between dormitories which was really interesting and fun to attend! As for pricing, when you break down how much you are paying per month it isn't worth the money even when you include the amenities (laundry, study rooms). Despite the pricing it is a great way to meet new friends that you'll have for the rest of your life.
