This is my second community college and it is better then I could have expected! Although I believe classes are a little harder, they are more involved and I am learning more then I ever have! The campus is beautiful since all the buildings are fairly new. A few complications have occurred since the school got a whole new system online... but they have been very apologetic for the inconvenience and teachers have worked around the problems. The student center is one of my favorite aspects of the school. It is where almost everyone hangs out in between classes. There are TVs, ping pong tables, a delicious cafeteria, and lots of seating for everyone. Also, as a player on the women's soccer team, I have realized how well they treat their athletes! All athletes always have an advisor at hand and get to sign up for our classes a weak early in order to accommodate our sport schedule with our school schedule. Overall, this school has been a great experience for me!

To be a psych major at TCC, it is a great experience! The students I have in my classes are in almost all my classes with me each quarter. The teachers have never been so involved and seem to really love what they do. Having such great teachers makes coming to school so much easier. Since I learn so much during class time, my study time at home is very low. I learn pretty much everything I need to know at school and am able to carry on my everyday life afterwards without having to stress to much. Starting in fall when I move to a University, I will get to intern with CPS. The Social work program is really hands on and I couldn't be more excited!

Tacoma Community College always has fun activities for students. For Halloween 2012, students had an opportunity to go to the Seattle Aquarium, explore Pike Place Market, and then go on the Seattle Ghost Tour. I really enjoyed myself on that trip, and it only cost $10! That's less than I would have spent on gas driving there myself. They recently have hosted roller skating activities, bowling, skiing/snowboarding, and dances. There is always a fun activity just around the corner, and at great student-friendly prices (most activities are free)!
