Academic Flexibility: As I start my second quarter it is hard because I ended up on the waitlist which i would need to find a different class, but I can still attend them to be put in the class if some students didnt make it to the class. Some classes gets full fast which is why you should always apply early.

Overall Experience: I love how small it is easy to go around campus. Even though its small they managed to make it beautiful and clean. The diversity is what makes it stands out even more. Overall I think its a great school for someone who doesn't to spend a lot of money also the tuition price is smaller than all the other schools.

Overall Experience: So far for my first year my English professor was very strict on the class, although he explained some of the work we were doing in class, most of the time he expected us to know exactly what we were working on. Which was hard for me especially when its my first year in college, some of the works we were doing I have never heard of in high school which sucked. But I managed to get help, class sizes are alright.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not been able to know about careers on campus, but overall all of the employers on campus are very friendly and helpful.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Though it is my first year, the registration was not that hard as long as you have everything that is needed. Class sizes are okay, peer to peer interaction is okay as well.

Student Body: Your percentage of getting excepted here is probably way over 100 percent. The school is very diverse so no one ever feels left our or different. As far as religion everyone here is friendly and interacting no matter what race, religion or whatsoever.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Although I am only receiving grants the process was hard at first, but I am slowly getting the hang of it financial aid is helpful when I need help.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I haven't got the chance to fully explore our career center options yet.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Although it is my first year there are a lot of people that comes back here to change their majors, which is probably a good thing with the programs in the school.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: For my first year, but there are a lot of students, class sizes are probably the bad thing. To be able to have a certain class you want to have you make sure you apply early because it gets full fast.

Campus Resources: I love how diverse the school is especially for a student like myself. They have a lot of resources such as help for classes that is hard for you. They have different kinds of clubs to join when you want to participate in activities in the school. Overall I think it is a perfect little school there is, the environment is so clean, and everyone is always friendly.

Academic Flexibility: Since I am a first time student I haven't had to transfer any credits. I will most likely not transfer credits anytime soon. The class times have been great and even if I miss its easy to make sure I still get the work done that I might has missed. No frustrations have occurred.

Overall Experience: Tacoma Community College has so far been a great school. I haven't really met any new friends yet. There are a lot of programs and events that the college offers to help meet some of the people that go to the school. I'm not sure if I did it all over again if I would change my school or not. There is another college that is closer to me that would just be convenient to get to but I like that I am going to Tacoma Community College.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: So far I have taken 3 classes at Tacoma Community College. English 101, Computer Word-Excel, and Math 85. The class size was comfortable none of them were crowded. The professors were nice. Some didnt respond to emails as early as I liked but they were nice and offered us help.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am a fairly new student and switched my program over mid way through my quarter. I was going to do medical billing and coding. I changed it because I realized that I was going to do it for all the wrong reasons. I was never interested in just sitting in an office making bills and sending stuff out to people that doesn't really mean nothing. I always wanted to get into law. Once I learned that the medical billing coding program was completely online is when I changed back to the paralegal program. There is an internship that is required to be done to completely the program. The program director is very involved with the students and wants everyone to succeed.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I havent took an online class at Tacoma Community College yet. I will my next quarter. Assuiming so far since Tacoma Community College has been great this online class will be easy and have all the tools I need to get the best possible grade.

Student Body: Tacoma Community College has a very diverse ethnic student body. Their are many Asians, Ethiopians,Indians and other over seas cultures. People tend to stick to their own kind since that is what they are comfortable with so there isn't to much interracial interaction. You do see your regular black and whites that converse pretty well. The age range is very broad as well. From high school students to grown adults from age 50 everyone is welcome to Tacoma Community College.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process for me has been OK. Its confusing to me I guess. I was able to get financial aid to pay most of the cost for my classes but I still owed like a 100 dollars. I though I would have got some money back specially since I was unemployed but I didn't. The financial aid did tell me that there would be a time that they would accept changes but I had to wait. Eventually I just forgot about it and never checked. I was forced to take a loan so that I would have money to survive on. I'm hoping this time I will get something back since I didn't work that long and my salary was lower. The financial aid office is always hectic they actually sent out an email asking for everyone to bring in their wrong year tax transcripts. Other than that and the fact that I didn't get any money back its been OK nothing to unbearable.

Career Services: I haven't really looked into this just yet again I am just finishing my first quarter. Still have about years of schooling left until I obtain my associates in applied sciences so that I can become a paralegal. I do plan to try my best to obtain employment from the place that I choose to do my internship at. The school does offer work study. I did look into it but I am a little busy to try and work need to concentrate on my schooling.

College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Since this is my first quarter I haven't started any classes that are geared towards my program. I am attending my college to become a paralegal. I do know that the program direct requires internships to be done that will be good training and potentially be hired as an employ.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There are many programs that you can go to and get help. Whether it be English, math, chemistry, etc. There is a building with a department in there that can and will help you. The MARC being the math computer lab where tutors are also on hand. The English department that will help you with papers for English class and show you how to write a good paper. The professors also encouraged us to contact them with any questions.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The resources are great at the school. Some of the research databases on the schools website are great if you need information for a final paper for english. The library could use some more computers. I think the school has a lot more students now then ever before so sometimes you have to wait until a computer comes available. The schools campus is nice. It is also very large and spread out great to keep a health and active lifestyle while attending. They also offer atm's for the student bank cards where funds such as financial aid and loans are deposited on. So far attending Tacoma Community College has been a great experience. I just finished my first quarter and getting ready to start spring in a couple of weeks.

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: It's a community college, so open admissions, which made getting in very easy.

2 College Student

Overall Experience: I would choose to go to another school if I could do it over again.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: Most teachers are great. A few are cold and don't help, but the majority want students to succeed.
