Academic Flexibility: I have found scheduling to be pretty easy once you figure it out. I only transferred 3 credits to this school, but it was very easy.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors have almost all been very good and very helpful. They definitely take an interest in their students and are willing to give advice and write letters of recommendation.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I guess it depends what your major is and what you plan to do after graduation. I haven't gone to career services because I plan on transferring to a four year school after I graduate and I haven't started looking for internships yet. I do feel like I will be prepared to transfer though.

Academic Experience: Being a math/science major hasn't really been a unique experience in my opinion. I hope the classes I've taken have prepared me enough for a four year school. They haven't been too difficult, but I have had to put in effort to get good grades. I feel like I've learned from them.

Overall Experience: SUNY WCC is definitely a good school as far as community colleges go. They offer a lot of classes and the teachers have all been helpful.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I was able to get almost all online courses to help me around my work schedule and only go in for one day for my course on campus.

Career Services: Most of my classes are online so I wouldn't really know much about on campus things but they help with a lot of things and make the process easy for anything you do. Downside is that they might take awhile to do it.

Overall Experience: The school has a job opportunity program so that helps a lot especially for students with loans.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are really good but you have to make sure you do your research and ask the counselors which teachers are the best. I did that and I am very happy with my choices.

Overall Experience: The application was easy to complete and I got an answer about my admissions fairly quickly and inside the package was all the instructions step by step to complete my admissions. After taking the results the counselor I was seeing was very kind and helped me apply for my classes.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Since I don't know my specific major, I do not think it applies to me.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like my school. So far my classes are great and my professors are a big help with assignments. Tutors really help me a lot in anytime I need help.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online classes are okay, but it is hard to receive help from the professors.

Overall Experience: Horrible, horrible, horrible. Do NOT go here. They are NOT accomadating AT ALL if you have any special needs. I have not liked a single professor I have had so far, and I am in my final semester of my second year.

Academic Flexibility: The courses were very flexible: online, in Valhalla, extension sites during the day or evening.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Really liked the online course. It's not as easy as one might assume. There are deadlines and one can easily fall behind if they aren't careful. The rubric and the syllabus are your best friends. Follow them religiously and if you aren't religious, follow them like you need to pass the class.

The professor communicates with you constantly. If you need help, they offer available times that they are able to speak with you. Services that are offered to traditional class students are also offered to online students. Having the ability to take online courses is great if you have a job already, a family. If you know you're weak in a certain subject, I would suggest you take a traditional course for it.

The workload was average I think, but again, you need to be on top of your own work.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors are amazing. They help you succeed and want you to pass. I have taken online courses and classes at an extension site. I've had great professors. The class size in the extension site was average. Online was also average. There was rather less socializing with the online course, but my professor would have us communicate with one another regarding certain parts of our lessons.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Not sure about the recruitment or career services as I did not utilize them.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Work/life balance is good. Curriculum has been fair

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Love that they offer extension sites, online courses

Career Services: many great transfer counselors and programs
