Academic Flexibility: I took AP classes in high school and once the information from CollegeBoard transferred I had the credits for the classes I needed them in.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: Most of the online portions of classes are used in order to do homework and, especially with the internet in the dorm rooms, it takes forever to do any assignments that often don't read the correct answers properly.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The people at the Career and Applied Learning center (CAL center) are amazing and always get anything done that you need. Always available to help out.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class sizes almost never exceed 30 so it feels very similar to a High School environment. Great to transfer into

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Multiple chances on campus to join honors clubs, if you are part of STEM you get weekly updates on possible internships

4 College Junior

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It has been difficult finding ways to pay for school, but every person I've communicated with regarding financial aid or simply advising in general has been extremely helpful.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: My only online course thus far has been extremely organized and easy to understand. The workload is realistic and the lectures are truly helpful and informative.

3 College Junior

Career Services: There seems to be a lot of advertising yet not a lot of options for the career center or help with graduate school/career services.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors at USF and truly out to help the individual classmate. They encourage coming to office hours, and many professors offer lectures and help regarding graduations and career services, rather than just class content.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There seems to be a lot of advertising for career services, but there are no details on what they entail and they don't necessarily seem appealing to the student eye.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: USF really allows hands on experience in research and communication skills. Diversity is the most outstanding factor here in Tampa. My skills have truly grown with the help of how cultured teachers and students are, and how willing everybody is to help.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Had problems with campus safty i do not like how they handle things its likr they do not believe you

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There's classes at all times of the day making it easy to have a flexible schedule.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses yet but I am taking one this semester and I'm excited.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I'm still in school so I'm not sure how post-grad services are.

Onondaga is a really great community college. It provides students with the chance to work while going to school and make lifelong friends. Other SUNY schools lack the opportunities found on this campus. Students can gain leadership positions in clubs and organizations, utilize counselor help to figure out their life goals, and prepare for a life in the work force or further education at a four-year university. The faculty and staff are friendly and engaging, with the ultimate goal of helping students grow. Onondaga is unique as a community college because the people that make up its community truly take the effort to make things better each and every day.
