Career Services: Most people in technology majors are placed in jobs in their field either during college or soon after graduating.

Academic Experience: NCCC is a powerhouse for any major in technology. My major combines the most used areas of computing- networking, programming and IT servicing. My typical workload for this is light in the classes that are in my major. This is because most of the work is hands-on learning experiences. The extra requirements like accounting and general education courses are where most of the workload is piled.

Academic Experience: NCCC is mostly known for nursing, sciences, and technology majors. STEM is a core part of the school. All professors of the college are teachers in addition to being (almost) experts in their field. Most are from the United States and speak English clearly.

Registration is done online and is easily accessible at any time through Banner Web.

There are a multitude of study labs and centers which are great for learning with a friend. The college is in desperate need for tutors in all areas except for writing.

4 College Junior

Student Body: People going to NCCC are of many races, backgrounds, orientations and personalities. The college draws people in from all over western NY (except for Rochester).

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: NCCC is SUNY accredited, so credits earned can be transferred anywhere.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is the lowest for Western NY. Financial aid covers more than or almost all of the expenses for going there. The only problem with the financial aid is that the office never gets the amount estimates or types of financial aid right, even though you still receive what you applied for in the long run. Okay, maybe not- I got paid TAP twice!

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits has been a very smooth process for me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: At my school, they cut you off of any financial aid after you receive an Associates degree so I am currently paying my tuition by myself by emptying my savings account from money I have earned since I was 14.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I think the interaction and work is very helpful. Typing the answers helps me retain information

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I couldn't ask to be part of a better Nursing program. I love everything about it. The workload is manageable, and the curriculum is very interesting.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: My professors help me so much, they are my biggest cheerleaders.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Overall the student body at my school is awesome, I have met the majority of the members and they seem very interested in getting our feedback and ideas.

4 College Senior

Career Services: I am not sure of all of the post grad services available, but they have a lot of signs and emails about it. I have heard nothing but great things about it.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: I think our campus is extremely student focused. Everything is always clean, convenient, and easy. All of the staff members seem like they genuinely care.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: You go in, fill out paperwork, and get out. It's relatively easy.

Overall Experience: The school throws great events, all kinds of people come and perform. Great food. Great people, you just have to put yourself out there and make it worth it. You're only there for 2 years, make memories !
