Overall Experience: My college experience at MCC has been better than I ever expected it to be. It's helped me decide what I want to do in life and help me get there. I've met some wonderful people along the way. The students, staff, and professors I've gotten to know here are some of the most inspiring and kind hearted people I've ever met. I hope to meet more as I begin my last semester, before going on to get my bachelors. MCC has really given me the kick start I needed in the right direction.

Academic Flexibility: Haven't transferred credits yet. Flexibility is not bad. All of the classes i've had to take have been during a reasonable time that fit my work schedule.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The price of this school separates it from other community colleges. The professors are very engaging and helpful and it just is a sensable choice. Pay less for the same education.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Variety of courses available at MCC. Not bad selection. Tad bit hard to understand applying for courses and such because my advisor wasnt the most helpful.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Alums as well as transfer colleges and career recruiters swarm the commons. They're always there looking for people to even just engage them in conversation.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Haven't taken any but from sheer observation i wouldn't advise anyone to.

Student Body: Too many cliques. People who aren't in these cliques don't interact at all with others. Hard to make friends outside of your classrooms. People avoid the places that should promote social interactions. I wouldn't say that the school isn't accepted of each others cultures but they don't necessarily care for each other either.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think for the amount of money i'm paying I am getting way more than my money's worth. Getting a relatively close education to rival schools paying a third of what they are.

Campus Resources: Monroe has two athletic centers, HPL and the PAC center. Both are well equipped and well maintained. Student center is nice but not used very much. Campus activities but aren't much used, people aren't as involved as you would think them to be. Libraries are nice and useful if the books aren't being misplaced by students or taking them without permission. General aesthetics are greeting and comfortable.

Overall Experience: You pretty much get what you pay for.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: You make you own schedule and pick what classes you want take and when and where you want to take them.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I do not know if I would choose this school over again if I had the chance. I would probably at least apply to other schools.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors are very friendly and they do care about the job that they are doing. MCC has some of the best professors in the country if you ask me. The classes are a very nice size as well.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online courses are as any online course is. You read very much and you are basically self taught. The professors do not hesitate to meet up with you in person though, so that is good.

Student Body: People are just plain rude! Since it is a community college, they basically accept anyone and then those people that aren't that serious about school ruin the experience for the students like me that are there to learn and get an education. I do not like that about that school. But the professors do make up for that aspect of the student body, thankfully.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I may have to drop all of my classes if I cannot find funding. I do not have a cosigner for any loans, and I am only going to receive barely enough TAP to cover all of the tuition. I still have to buy books and other supplies that i may not be able to afford. I hope that I am able to receive a scholarship from somewhere because I do not want to have to drop my classes again.

Career Services: This is a top notch community college in NYS and it is looked at as a good school.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are many study options and many resources to use.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The other students make it bad. The professors are awesome!

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: MCC is a 2 year college. We even have international students attending here. Its considered one of the best community colleges in the state of NY and the U.S. Its very great to start here and transfer else where. you'll be saving a boat load of money and saving yourself from mountains of student loans .

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial Aid process is not that hard. As long as you get everything required in on time, you'll be just fine. This is a SUNY school so the tuition is decent
