4 College Junior

Academic Experience: This program is helping you with the career you want to get into.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is the begining of your journey. Before trying to get into good but expensive college, one should consider going to public communi college first to experience and see what colleges is all about. This college is very cheap and very affordable. It also has very good education.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Haven't any experience in this area, yet.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Haven't experience with any online classes

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Classes aren't hard. Professor offer office hours just email to give them a heads up.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Seen a lot of recruiting being done this semester compared to others.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Extremely small class. My class size is about 10 people we are considered a big class. Lots of one on one

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's an okay school. You get what you get what you pay for. A lot of activity to do.

Academic Experience: the workload in the middle of the semester is a lot. if you do not have a family or job then it would not be to awful. juggling the family and the homework is tough. some of the professors are better than others, but that comes with every school.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: the school really is not all bad. i have just had a tough time handling the fact that the advisers refuse to allow me to do what i want to do. I feel as though they may be more helpful and they should not go around telling students to drop from full-time to part-time.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: There are always a wide range of class times and days and teachers that fit around anyone's busy schedule.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: When taking online courses, it definitely is more convenient. You can do the homework and work load whenever you want, but you lose out on the interaction with other students in the classroom. I would definitely say that the workload is a lot harder and more challenging since you are not physically in the classroom to learn. The professor/student relationship in my case is great. Anytime I have trouble or need help on something, they are always right there to assist me in any way they can.

4 College Senior

Career Services: Everything was super easy to transfer and get set up.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: All of the courses that I took either helped me focus in on my major more or gave me a new idea of what I wanted. The professors were very helpful with any questions I had, and since class sizes are not too big I was able to learn better as well.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Everyone in the general area always goes to Mohawk Valley to start their way to a 4 year school. A degree from here is transferable anywhere. There is not much on internships and recruiting from employers that I seen.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: For me, I took General Studies just to get my basics out of the way. Being able to pick my own courses to fulfill my requirements while also taking classes I liked was amazing. The workload increases as you go through the major, just like any other college. My favorite part of my major was having a wide range of classes available to take.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose to go to Mohawk Valley Community College all over again if I could. There are constant resources to help with whatever you need, and there are clubs and organizations constantly pushing others to join. This school makes you feel included in everything and to me that was very important.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility really depends a lot on the professor. Some professors are much more flexible than others.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses are okay, they tend to be harder to do and it's (personally) harder for me to speak with a student I can't see face-to-face.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Classes were great! Students could interact with one another, and professors are always there to help out.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The degree you get from here automatically transfers to the college of your choice, which is very helpful and great because the first two years can then go for an affordable price with a good education.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are a variety of courses for my major

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My experience as a first time student was very good. I had no idea what to expect. The friendly staff and other students helped keep me at ease. The professors are very nice and very helpful

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Everyone is very encouraging and helpful to make sure the students get the degree they want

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have had great experiences
