Overall Experience: The school has a reputation of 100% job placement for those who graduate the Nursing program.

Online Courses: Our school uses a app called Blackboard. At first it was tricky to navigate, but it did not take very long to get familiar. I love my online courses. My professors post videos, so there is still interaction. Any time I need to communicate with a professor, they respond in a very timely manner.

3 College Junior

Student Body: This school is majority students fresh out of high school. As well the majority of students are white.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Getting financial aid is never an easy process. Our financial aid office informed me step by step how to make it as easy as possible to complete.

Career Services: The Educational planning and Career services center at FLCC, is amazing! There door is always open. Every time I visit the center, I leave with a new and fresh perspective about my future!

Academic Experience: I have just started working toward my major, and have not yet been accepted to the Nursing program. I am taking courses as a Path to Nursing. The college has great facilities for my career interest. The workload is heavy, but what I expect.

Academic Experience: The Nursing program is highly competitive and believed to be the best in Western New York.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The incubator at Finger Lakes community college is fantastic. It offers free professional tutors for sciences. There are class books, skeletons, bones, muscle men, and any other resource needed. As well it is open Monday thru Friday all day long.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everything turned out as should.

Academic Flexibility: It is a great school.

Overall Experience: Overall, my experience has been wonderful, I have enjoyed the professors and my classes, I think the curriculum is wonderful, up to date and relevant to my field of study and the professors cover the topics needed very well and have a real compassion for their students as well as a passion for what they teach.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid is usually a very smooth process but for this past semester I am receiving no help, no aid and no loans for tuition and was not told this would be a problem until I received an email stating my bill would be due in 2 weeks. I am now frantic and trying to figure out how I am going to come up with this kind of money in just a few days time with no notice and no assistance.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: I have had a lot of fun and learned a lot through the online courses I have taken. I have also covered a wide variety of topics from an online course from music and art to health and science. The online program is wonderful and the teachers are so available to their student s it is better than being in a classroom because I feel that they are there and can offer more of their time and are not on any type of time restriction or schedule.

Campus Resources: There are a wide variety of resources available to all students including the incubator which is a new feature which is there to help students who want to get extra help in science or maybe just have a place to study for science, they have models and professors who are there to give their support and assistance to any student in need.

Student Body: There really is no typical student at this school, we all have different goals and desires for our future and we go about getting it in different ways even though we attend the same schools. Some of us are outgoing and very social while enjoying clubs and school functions while others are more focused on themselves and their work. We are all very diverse and I have never seen or heard of a problem with acceptance within our school

Academic Flexibility: I was recently told that I had received an F for a course that I had not even take, I spoke with the instructor of the class and the head of the committee to change this, even though they can change my grade from an F to a W I can still not earn financial aid or loans to pay for this course, so even though I did not take the course I now have to pay out of pocket due to a flawed system.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: People who apply for Nursing programs or other degrees are first put into a Liberal Arts program to accumulate prerequisites so that in entering the desired field the student is not overwhelmed with work. In doing this I have learned a lot and been able to experience a lot of different aspects of a college life I may not have had the opportunity to before but on the other hand it is also taking me twice as long to graduate and I am being told I need to take courses that are really not needed for the field I am interested in.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Class registration is very simple, I usually bypass using the adviser because I have a set schedule in my mind and have already figured out my next moves, so to be able to move on without the approval of another party is very helpful, Also I get to register for classes before new students coming in or freshman who have to meet with their adviser before continuing.

3 College Junior

Career Services: Nothing to compare it too.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The excess to computers is excellent because there are always some available. Printing is also free so that saves a lot of money.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The student life is not very exciting. I would like to see more school spirit and interaction among the student body.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: My schedules for the pass two semesters and worked out perfectly and I love all of the options and times there are for different classes throughout the days.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Finger Lakes Community College has no diversity. It is all the small town people that did not go away to college.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is fantastic and there were many options for financial aid.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: Online courses are challenging, but at the same time very knowledgeable!
