Academic Flexibility: I had a fine time transferring credits I came in with 18 from high school! I didn't know I was still going to have to take STATS II as a requirement though, and a few other bumps, but the staff has helped me work through them.

Career Services: I don't think there is anything serious...

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are good recruiters on campus and it as an excellent place to transfer from, but the jobs on campus are few and far between. The good news, however, is that there are people at the school locations that will help you get connected with some of the surrounding businesses through the internet... although there is not a concrete guarantee as I have found out.

Overall Experience: the classes are small enough so that you are actually interacting on a day to day basis with the students and faculty. You make friends and join clubs as you wish and everyone is able to stay in touch. Rather than if no one knew your name or face, the teachers here really place a lot of work into their schedule and teaching!

Academic Experience: I can't practice once I get done with my athletic training major, but it sure has prepared me for being able to switch to a different area of the sports medicine field if i so desire. It is a great program, not a penny wasted on these courses.

Overall Experience: I have had numerous faculty members from nearly all of the departments and they have all been fantastic. Without a doubt they are committed to their jobs and care about you as a student. I still see some of them in the halls and they address me by name. They are almost obsessed with making sure you know all of the available resources, retain the material, and have a stress free experience. Finger Lakes Community College is the bomb digity!!!

Academic Flexibility: I havent transferred credits so I cannot speak on that subject. As far as convenience, I have been able to maintain my 60+ hour a week job while taking online courses at my school. It is very tough at times, but being online has offered me flexibility that sit down courses simply couldn't. This allows me to still attend school and earn a degree, while maintaining a job that i need to afford my expenses.

Online Courses: For the most part my online courses have went great. The majority of my professors understood the difference between an online course and a sit down course, and adjusted their teachings and lessons accordingly. One professor did seem to have a bit of trouble making the transition into online courses, but it worked out in the end.

Overall Experience: For the most part, my first semester wen great. Most of my professors were there to help with whatever I or my classmates needed, and seemed to care about us learning. There was one professor who didn't seem quite competent when it came to the only format. Everything seemed disorganized and hard to understand, and did leave a bit of worry with me about continuing online courses. The other professors have made up for it though.

Overall Experience: My degree seems to be just the base line degree that will eventually lead to a higher degree down the road. With my degree I may be able to achieve better career choices, as I will potentially be seen as a better prospect than colleagues without a college degree.

Academic Experience: At the moment I am majoring just in Liberal Arts and Sciences, however it has a concentration in Health and Nutrition. The program offers a broad range of subjects covered, and most of the classes are ones that every student must take at some point to earn a degree. It is nice to have the concentration of Health and Nutrition, because i feel that it adds a bit of substance to an otherwise common degree.

Overall Experience: After being out of high school for two years going back to school seemed a bit of a daunting task. I was able to communicate with different people who worked at the school and explain that it is my first time going through any of this, and I didn't have a guidance counselor to help steer me like most high schoolers do. They seemed to care about what i was saying and took time to make sure I understood everything and got the assistance I needed. The transition from a regular high school, to taking online college courses has been made somewhat easier thanks to their help.

Overall Experience: I love my school because the class sizes are small and the teachers do everything in their power to help you succeed. It's hard for commuter students to stay involved on campus, but they do offer a wide variety of clubs and activities for students who live there or who have the ability to participate in them. Overall, the atmosphere is welcoming and easy to learn in.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The school has a reputation of 100% job placement for those who graduate the Nursing program.

Online Courses: Our school uses a app called Blackboard. At first it was tricky to navigate, but it did not take very long to get familiar. I love my online courses. My professors post videos, so there is still interaction. Any time I need to communicate with a professor, they respond in a very timely manner.

Student Body: This school is majority students fresh out of high school. As well the majority of students are white.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Getting financial aid is never an easy process. Our financial aid office informed me step by step how to make it as easy as possible to complete.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The Educational planning and Career services center at FLCC, is amazing! There door is always open. Every time I visit the center, I leave with a new and fresh perspective about my future!

Academic Experience: I have just started working toward my major, and have not yet been accepted to the Nursing program. I am taking courses as a Path to Nursing. The college has great facilities for my career interest. The workload is heavy, but what I expect.
