The academic process at Farmingdale State College is great. The staff answering the calls, or who sit at the different departments, are very helpful. They are patient and friendly, and don't make me feel uncomfortable about asking for assistance. The college is so nicely manicured. It has clean buildings and large areas of soft grass, new benches, a fountain, athletic fields, and a great campus center. It seems like they fix things right away if broken. I am very happy going to school here! Thanks.

Farmingdale is a great school for a commuter school. I wasn't happy to have to go here and not live on a campus, but I actually loved it. The professors are great and give you individual attention because the class sizes are small. It's a very friendly place, and it's very easy to make friends in your classes. The liberal arts department advising isn't great though so you have to make sure you're on top of your major requirements and paying attention to it. Also, you can study abroad to so many places! Farmingdale helped me get good grades and learn how to study so now I'm at a great school with a huge scholarship!

I'm really happy I transferred from Pace to Farmingdale a State College. It's more affordable, which reduces stress, and therefore allows me to freely focus on tasks or assignments for my classes. Pace Pleasantville is a nice school, but FSC is so much more practical for my life. Staff is very helpful, professors very normal, the campus is beautiful, and students are friendly! One of the best decisions of my life so far!
