5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: The campus has laboratories, libraries, lovely old brick buildings with ivy, as well as open green spaces.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: ESF is the number one school in the country for environmental science and forestry. This is my main reason for going. They have good funding and networking options. I have heard nothing but good things about my school.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Every single major offered at SUNY-ESF is in the field of Environmental Science. The professors here are truly dedicated to teaching us how to think with the environment and the future in mind. Because each and every student here cares about the environment and making a difference in the work with their major, all of the people here are very real and down to earth.

Campus Quality: Personally, I love the student life here at ESF. We are a small school and this makes our student body close knit and very friendly. There are always events going on around campus that you can get involved in to meet people. Being directly next to Syracuse University and the relationship we share with them, we also have infinite opportunities to get involved there. We can use all of their athletic facilities, dining halls, libraries, buildings, and join any of their 300+ clubs and organizations. Games at the dome are always a fun activity!

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: It is by far one of the most concerned schools when it comes to ecology. The new gateway building is extremely efficient and was acknowledged by the EPA (I think it was considered a "platinum" building). There are a ton of people who ride bikes and everyone recycles.
