Overall Experience: Here at SUNY Canton the teachers are not the problem, its the students. Be prepared to face a lot of racism here, especially if your african american, the teachers allow the students to wear confederate flags shirts and hang up these flags in their rooms basically anywhere they want, and they justify themselves saying that its southerners pride even though SUNY Canton is located in the north country. They have snapchats where they use words such as "N****rs" and ask us why can we black people go back where we belong, or say that blacks is whats wrong with the school and while the school tries and shuts it down another one pops back up, i honestly don't know why people have given this school such a good rating but i am transferring out of this school as fast as possible, and if you want another example, apparently there was this interracial couple on campus people took pics of them put them up on social media and then proceeded to call her a "N****r Lover", i would highly recommended to all african american students looking to apply their cheap education is not worth the embarrassment, and degradation that you will receive by going here

Overall Experience: I have only been in this school for almost two weeks but I can say that I would recommend someone to come to this school based on what I already know. There are amazing staff to WANT to give help to the students who need it and want it. For the dorms the RA's are on top of everything and make sure that everything is in place. The professors make the lessons very engaging to where someone would want to show up to the class everyday. Its an amazing school to me!

Overall Experience: You're able to hop toward your dreams while attending SUNY Canton. The mascot is a kangaroo, which is an inspiration for students to keep moving forward. All of the professors around campus are willing to dedicate their personal time to helping students grow the necessary arsenal to propel you into your future. You will have the required skill set to enter anything from a career to a graduate program.

Overall Experience: I really love this school. It's in a small town that's very similar to my hometown. It's far enough away from home but not too far. The Vet Tech program is amazing. I'm enrolled in the 4 year program and I love it. The professors are great. The dorms are some of the nicest dorms I've seen. The winters are cold, so be prepared for that. I'm involved with the VTA (Veterinary Technician Association) which is great. Last year we went on a trip to Philadelphia and got to go to the zoo and the aquarium with behind the scenes tours. I would definitely choose this school again. It actually wasn't my first choice. I started at Clarkson University as a pre-vet student and I ended up hating it there. I really felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for and it was all about research. Canton is about hands-on learning which I love. The four year vet tech program also has a pre-vet track.

Overall Experience: SUNY Canton is honestly one of the most average college's there is. Everything is normal, or average, and nothing really sticks out. However you do get a good education for a lower cost than others, especially when commuting, so to me, average is fine! If i had to choose my school all over again, i would still chose suny canton because of its convenience in location to my house, as well as because of the low tuition cost!
