Overall Experience: You're able to hop toward your dreams while attending SUNY Canton. The mascot is a kangaroo, which is an inspiration for students to keep moving forward. All of the professors around campus are willing to dedicate their personal time to helping students grow the necessary arsenal to propel you into your future. You will have the required skill set to enter anything from a career to a graduate program.

Overall Experience: I really love this school. It's in a small town that's very similar to my hometown. It's far enough away from home but not too far. The Vet Tech program is amazing. I'm enrolled in the 4 year program and I love it. The professors are great. The dorms are some of the nicest dorms I've seen. The winters are cold, so be prepared for that. I'm involved with the VTA (Veterinary Technician Association) which is great. Last year we went on a trip to Philadelphia and got to go to the zoo and the aquarium with behind the scenes tours. I would definitely choose this school again. It actually wasn't my first choice. I started at Clarkson University as a pre-vet student and I ended up hating it there. I really felt like I wasn't getting what I paid for and it was all about research. Canton is about hands-on learning which I love. The four year vet tech program also has a pre-vet track.

Overall Experience: SUNY Canton is honestly one of the most average college's there is. Everything is normal, or average, and nothing really sticks out. However you do get a good education for a lower cost than others, especially when commuting, so to me, average is fine! If i had to choose my school all over again, i would still chose suny canton because of its convenience in location to my house, as well as because of the low tuition cost!

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I wouldn't choose to go to SUNY Canton again because I was very unhappy at the school. The food was awful. The rules were demeaning. The quality of the education was poor. Classes were not challenging. It was just a bad experience in general.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The courses were generally not very challenging at all. Some professors were good, others were okay.

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I decided to transfer because my experience at SUNY Canton was overall very poor. The value of a degree is not nearly as close to the value of a degree from basically any other SUNY school (with the exception of a few). The alumni network is almost non-existent.
