4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My school is great and the campus is full of life. I would choose it if i had to do it all over because I'm in a good place being here

Off-Campus Housing: Most fill up quick , long waiting list

5 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I have lots of fun

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: For where we are located it's pretty good

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The more strict on drugs then anything else and outsiders

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: I believe with all the money their getting they can expand on variety.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They give you the run around, quick to take funds away, as well as they don't inform you that you have to verify it in order for it to go through.

Guys & Girls: Some people tend to find a person to be in a relationship with but I personally believe that some can be immature.

Party Scene: Partying is part of the college experience. But it can impact your friendship and academics in a negatively way.

Campus Housing: The perks of living on campus is having the freedom and getting to room with strangers. As crazy as that sounds, sometimes strangers can be ones close friend. The dorm life is moderate. Just hope that you wont get to sleep with a slob or one having weird sleeping habits. The worst is the food. The food in dining can cause one to have food poisoning. I've dealt with it. The atmosphere is so different. Canada is on the other side which is great! Its an hour ride to get to Niagara Falls but at least its free.

Overall Experience: I will transfer. Buffalo State should stop accepting a lot of people if they do not have any housing for them!

Local Area: The atmosphere is moderate. There are many cute boutiques along Elmwood village.

Health & Safety: I feel like there should be more safety.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The prices are fair but the prices from La Nova is super expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: There should be more policies with underage drinking.

Campus Food: Some of the foods from retail is okay. But dining food is the worst. Argo Tea should be put in retail while Spot should be placed in the library. They should switch places.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial process was so HECTIC! But now that I am enrolling as a sophomore, it wasn't so bad.

Administration: People are ALWAYS smoking cigarettes and weed in the dorms. Always playing loud music so don't expect to sleep on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Out of my twos years on campus the cops came a total of 5 times out of 100+ times.

Attendance, depending on the professor, they are pretty strict. Miss three and you basically fail.

Local Area: Two museums right Next to the college and a park is within walking distance. There are lots of shops on the main road but if you like the mall that is a an hour long bus ride to get to unless you have a car. Car is like 15mins long.

There are a handful of homeless people and a crap Ton of crazies. (Campus is next to an asylum.)

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Just think of high school, only with more people and different backgrounds. Some are cute and go to the gym. Others study in the library and keep to themselves. It's pretty diverse.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: You need a key to get into any dorm so the dorms are safe but walking outside at night is not as safe, but there are emergency phones everything 150-200 yards.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: The "pledging" is pretty crazy. Not worth it.

Greeks tend to only stay with other Greeks too, so socializing with them isn't too great. Female Greeks are nicer though but the guys are pretty stuck up.

Some frats and sororities are nice and require a 3.0 to even be considered.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: I was on the track team and the locker rooms are so nice. The fitness room for all students is brand new and is amazing. There is even open swim for those who want to swim. The bathrooms and showers are super clean and nice. (Which is surprising for college restrooms)
