Academic Experience: I do a lot of my classes online, when I started there is started out as a culinary student. I have since switched to Restaurant and Hotel Management which is just know that I will love. Sincentives I switched over it has been so easy. The workload is easy and not hard at all the only class that I am having trouble with is food science other that it's not hard at all. I made the President list 4 times, the Deans list and the Honor list.

Career Services: The staff at the career center here are somewhat helpful. I haven't really used them yet since I am currently working and going to school, but I have no doubt that they will help me once I finish school. They are always hosting job fairs and announcing new job posting to the students. I have gone to one of the job fair and it was very knowledgeable. You get to meet with the hiring managers in different companies and talk to them about your career opportunity. Some of the companies even interview you on the spot.

Overall Experience: There are many types of course offered at this school. The professors are very knowledge, many of them are working professional in the fields that they teach. Some of the nursing professors work in clinics and hospitals and like the science professors some of them are researchers in the field. The culinary art school professor are working professionals with their own restaurant. Overall Stratford University is a good school to attend because you'll not only gain theoretical part of the education you'll also gain practical/hands on knowledge.

Overall Experience: Many of the students at Stratford University have a good out look with their careers. a lot of the students are adult learners who takes their educations seriously and know the value of education and what their degrees can do for them. Some of them are already working in their fields and are looking for a career advancement so they come back to school to learn the new skills that are thought in todays modern workforce. The career center at the school do a good job in notifying students with new career opportunities by posting new job opportunities and hosting career fairs at the schools with many types of companies.

Academic Experience: I have not get into the nursing program yet, but I plan on getting in by the end of this summer. From others students that are in the program I've heard that the program is not easy, but as long as you study and put in the work you should be fine, just like anything else in life. I can't wait to start the program though.

Overall Experience: Stratford University, is a good school if you are looking for the small class size experience, where the professor knows your name and cares abut your education as an individual. If you need help you could easily contact your professors via phone calls or e-mail and they are most likely to respond back to you in a timely manner. I have learned a lot in this school. The professors will challenge you to your highest potential and that's what I like the most about this school. The knowledge that I have gained made me realized that I am able to learn and retained the materials that were taught to me. Yes it is a little pricy, but you really do get that one-on- one time with your professors.

Career Services: The career services has helped me to get my first job in the culinary industry and also my second job in the industry which is at a bskery. They are always there to assist students anyway that they can. There are always new job prospects all time.

Overall Experience: The quality of courses are very good and most of the professors do a good a job with presenting material and providing demo's. The variety is great, which ranges from breads, creams and custards, wedding cakes, plated desserts and confectionary production. Classes sizes are pretty small for baking and pastry and there are usually a lot of students in culinary.

Overall Experience: There are a lot of career prospects all the time from employers visiting school and some comeback to hire more students because they have had a good turnout with them. A list of employers are listed throughout the school to ensure that anyone who is interested in looking for a job know about it. The students have a opportunity to join the American culinary federation to network with different chefs. The career development services always notifies students about upcoming job opportunities.

Academic Experience: I'm a baking and pastry major and it's great, their are only a handful of students in my classes and that helps because I can get better hands on approach with the instructor. Which wouldn't really be the case if I was doing culinary arts because there are a lot of students in those classes. The workload is straight forward as all classes follow the same course structure. The instructors lecture for about a hour and then demo's what we are going to learn for that day. The students then executes the orders. The curriculum is straight forward as well. Every class has a homework, forum assignments, mid term, final exam and final projects. There are plenty of job opportunities in my major which are posted on the schools career website. Additionally, employers come visit the school to recruit for different positions. Lastly, there are career fairs students are welcome to attend and some of them are just for students are not for the general public.

Overall Experience: I have been going to stratford for almost two years and have had nothing but a positive experience. Firstly, when I was in need of a job there was a opportunity to work at the horseshoe casino and they needed volunteers for recipe development. I worked under five different executive chefs for four weeks and did everything that was asked of me. The chefs from my school and the staff from career development services had nothing but good things to say about me which helped me land the job at the restaurant johnny Sanchez as a line cook. Their were other volunteers but I was the most consistent and even came to volunteer after I was let out from class. There have been moments when I was at my worst from my depression and the staff was their to help me with anything that I needed. For example, I was feeling down because I didn't have any money and the director of the school gave me the money that I had needed. They staff lets me know that I am welcome to come into there class if I want to practice anything or need help studying. I am even offered food when I come into school to make sure that I have eaten. The only negative I have with stratford is that they don't have a cafeteria for staff and students. We can usually get food from entree production class which mimics a real restaurant experience. I would recommend stratford university to anyone who is interested in a career in culinary arts, baking and pastry and hospitality management. If I could do it all over again I would because the staff is like family to me and they have been their for me every step of the way. Stratford university is like a second home for me.
