Overall Experience: Stevenson University is a great college to attend. It is small, but the teachers know you by name and students are able to talk to them one on one. The students are friendly and the teachers are very approachable. They have a wide variety of clubs and organizations to join in on to get more involved around campus.

Administration: I wish that stevenson wasn't that strict about everything it would be nice if people did not get noise complains on the weekends or get the RA's to bust every party. I feel that stevenson is way to strict on quiet hours especially on weekends.

Health & Safety: If you ever do have a problem security and RA's are there 24/7. However, I've never really had a problem in the dorms.

Off-Campus Dining: There's a lot of good options within walking distance or a short car ride. There are a lot of restaurants in the shopping plaza below the school such as Five Guys, Bonefish, Outback, Subway and things like that.

Campus Housing: The dorms at Stevenson are very nice with everyone being placed in suites as freshman and sophomores, and then being placed in apartments as juniors and seniors. Although living on campus can be a little expensive, it is an all around good experience.

Athletics: Our athletics seem to keep getting bigger and bigger as the years move on. We keep on adding many different sports teams, which brings people in from everywhere.

Greek Life: There are only two sororities on campus that I know of and I think they are mostly together for a sense of community. They don't really throw any parties or things of that nature.

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of options for off-campus housing, but they can be expensive. However, there are a lot of close apartment complexes nearby.

Party Scene: Stevenson isn't that big of a party school, but if you know the right people then parties are easy to find. None of the parties are ever on campus, well besides the occasional tailgate.

Administration: Overall, the campus I think is pretty understandable when it comes to rules. Pretty much don't be loud after quiet hours in the dorm and there is nothing to worry about. But, the security and RA's is always there to help you if you ever do have a problem.

Campus Food: There are a lot of different places to use your meal swipes on campus, until about midnight every night. The food is pretty good most of the time, however if you don't want to eat on campus, Stevenson does provide its students with flex dollars that they can use at places like Subway, Duncan Donuts, the local pizza and sub shop, sushi, and many more places.

Scholarships: Since Stevenson is a private university, it is more expensive than a public school. With that being said, it can be hard for people to be able to afford the cost. However, the school does offer scholarships based on academics and another based on financial need and your involvement on campus. The best way to get financial aid at this school is to really stay involved on campus and maintain good grades.

Stevenson University offers students a great experience, both academically and personally. However cliché it may sound, the school really is like a big family. The teachers develop close bonds with their students that just cannot be found at other schools. Even though the school is growing in leaps and bounds, the closeness of the school will never be gone because the administration actually cares about students' futures. There is a good reason this school is the most up-and-coming University in the state of Maryland: the people are great.

Stevenson University offers students an opportunity to grow. However, it is important to note that the University gives students back only what the students put in. It is possible to attend Stevenson University, do "just enough" to graduate, and get a job. It is possible to try "just enough," and just be another student in a desk. However, students like this usually drop out in the first year. Why? This University is designed for people who want to push themselves and help push each other to succeed. "Just enough" isn't good enough for most who attend here. Students join societies and clubs, stand up for their beliefs and passions, dedicate their time to learning outside of the classroom, and earn the University the reputation it proudly holds today.
