It is very easy to take online classes through Stevens-Henager. They have live webcam sessions with instructors and fellow classmates, study groups, recorded sessions to review material, discussion forums, and e-mail to communicate with the instructors and/or students. Transitioning from on-campus classes to online courses is as simple as signing a form and altering your financial aid paperwork to fit.

Be cautious when taking online classes. It may sound much easier than having to go to campus four or five times a week, but you must have a comprehensive mind and great will-power to get your work done and submitted online on time.

Facts & Statistics

Required Tech Skills
You need to be able to access the Internet, use a web-cam, and use a microphone. You also need to know how to send and receive e-mail and use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Typical Online Course - Start to Finish
Because courses are only four weeks long, there is a lot of work to cover in that time. Workload can be heavy depending on the class and the professor.
Online Testing & Grading
Depends on the teacher, but usually you log into your Stevens-Henager account and click on the test. You take it online, and it is automatically graded right after you take the quiz. Course grades are mostly made up of exams, projects, and participation. Some professors also give a "professionalism" grade.
