Online Courses: Time Management – As long as a student possess some type of time management skills, getting through the weekly course is painless. I even manage to get done early and have extra time for myself and family. Peer-to-peer interaction is obtained through classroom discussions and live sessions. The professors that i have are friendly and are flexible when it comes to aiding a student in whatever they need help with.

Academic Experience: The professors are very involved in my educational process. Even though I am going on-line, we can communicate through emails and phone calls. So far when i've had a question, i receive a prompt response. Sometimes within minutes. The workload is reasonable. Normally, there are 4 assignments that have to be turned in by the end of the week. They offer many different resources that are beneficial to my success.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since this is a private institution, i will not receive anything from financial aid. I honestly did not know this when I signed up for this school. Even though a quality education is what I'm focused on, the extra money could still be useful. I believe the cost of this school isn't too much. I can say I'm satisified with everything - so far.

Career Services: They have a great career services dept. Help in any way they can to make sure you are ready and capable of finding work, as well as often help to find you a job before graduation.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is higher than some other places, but they do all the work for you in helping find and qualify you for financial aid.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility – The school is excellent at offering any resources for you to pass your class. Tutoring at no extra cost, all teachers I have experienced have been above and beyond willing to help in any way they can.

Campus Resources: I've already answered this question. Printing on campus is good there isn't a minimum as to what you can print. Most of the time the network is running just fine but there are a few times when none of us could get online and that made it hard to do our work.
It put us behind a few hours. Other than that I have to say the resources are good.

Online Courses: For me personally working in a classroom is easier. Any having hands on and interactions with the other students as well as immediate assistance from the instructor is the best way that I learn. Using an online class for me is terrible because I don't get that interaction with people.

1 College Student

Online Courses: I hate online courses. The teachers require 3 times the amount of work that the on campus class require. There is no way to easily access the teacher and I am the kind of student that I need to have the face to face encounter with a teacher.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: Fast Track Program – This is a very intense program that gets you through to a Bachelors Degree within a few years. There are new classes each momth and you will never have more than 2 classes at a time. This is not the kind of school for someone who wants the traditional college experience.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Computer Labs/Printing – The computer lab is always available to the students at anytime the school is opened and they are always willing to print what you need off.

Overall Experience: My School Is the Best – I love my school all my teachers, counslers, financial advisor will not let you fail at anything they are there every step of the way. You have questions they are more then willing to finnd the answers and help you every step of the way.The staff is very friendly and has your back in everything. When I graduate with my Medical Specialties Degree I plan on going back through Stevens Henager College for my nursing Degree. That is the best college I have choosen.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The resources are great. You just have to use them. I have used the library and Student career center many times wih great success.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility – The only problem that I've experienced in my classes have been the other students constantly are texting on their phones or are playing games on their computers durng presentations or when the teacher is explaining whichever topic we are learning. It is irriatating that when t his issue is brought that the students still continue to play games or text on their phones.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Academic Experiences – I find that these classes are good for me. I have learned alot about myself and have been able to learn alot about the profession I have chosen. The workload is alot and learning how to manage my time has been an ongoing process.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the cost is steep, and that the teachers need to be more aware of what is happening in class. Too much texting and gaming on the computers during class. If I'm going to pay alot of money for an education I don't want to be distracted by others texting or playing on the computer all night.

Student Body: Some people at this school are nice. For the most part they are rude and inconsiderate of others. No one takes other peoples feelings into minde. A lot of people are too busy to even have time to say hi.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Dealin With Other Students – I had an altercation with another student during class, at which the other girl called me a really unappropriate name in front of the whole class. We had to discuss our problem with the Dean and others, and I never got an appoligy. I said I was sorry for what happened to the other girl, and nothing back, other then acadimic probation for me..

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Program and Internet Issues – The program "Angel" that we use in school seems to always be having problems. It will not load half the time, and the other half, it seems it is down. Not only is this a major issue, but there are issues with the internet not working during class, always seems to be when we have to look up information as well, or it runs so terribly slow, that nothing loads all the way.

5 College Junior

Career Services: Job Prospects – I receive a prospective job announcement daily through Career Services

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My Favorite Experiences – The teachers, Admissions and Student Career center are great

Online Courses: I hated the online experience. One teacher in particular was very rude and didn't teach the subject well at all and failed all but one of the students. Was a bad experience that I now have to pay for because I had to retake the class. My husband has to as well.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My School – The tuition is a little expensive at this College but it's worth the price to pay because you get to go through school faster. The financial aid process is quick and easy. I didn't quite get enough loans to cover my tuition and so I have to pay some while going to school.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Very Diverse – Stevens Henager has every kind of student you can imagine, from ethnic groups to economic groups I see students who are very well off financial, to those who hold full time jobs.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: IT Dept. Stevens Henager has an IT dept for the students, they are very helpful and very efficient. I appreciate having someone I can go to when I'm having trouble with my computer.

Many students at SHU say they would choose their college again if they had to do it all over. There's a good reason for this decision: SHC offers great education and great student incentives. Once you graduate, it's free to return to SHC and take additional classes or retake a class as a memory refresher. Also, if you have younger siblings, they can get a scholarship to attend SHC after you graduate. Stevens-Henager College has encouraging staff members, great students, and many opportunities beyond these student incentives. You can gain licensure and certification in a variety of fields and earn scholarships. This makes it one of the best colleges to attend in the Boise area.
