College Freshman

Party Scene: No parties at the community college.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: Almost all full-time students receive 1/2 tuition!

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Small cafe owned by local soup cafe. Really good!

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I attend a community college so there are no residential housing.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: We're a primarily residential college.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Just basic options for a college town. Chains, etc.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: There's not many parties on this campus. We're pretty small.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was a pretty basic process.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Food: I hardly ever eat at Stamper because I'm gluten intolerant and there are always few, badly made options for gluten intolerant students. I'm not officially diagnosed as gluten intolerant because I cannot pay for testing at this time, and so I am unable to get off of the current meal plan, despite never eating what I'm paying thousands of dollars for.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I feel like there should be more choices for upperclassman for more private room options, etc. It's great for community living, but there are never enough washer/dryers, etc.

College Junior

Athletics: Never been involved with the athletic department. Watched a few games.

College Junior

Greek Life: Never been involved in this College! Couldn't say.

College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Never lived off campus. Know one guy, but he hates it!

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: It's a lot better in bigger college cities, but this is a one horse town; not bad for what you get!

5 College Junior

Administration: They're all great! It's nice to see enforcement, to be honest it makes me feel safer. And it's a wet campus, unless you're under 21.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: I don't really see the party scene, especially at our school on campus. Just REALLY NICE since I'm not a party person.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I want more, but they can't give me enough due to savings I can't touch(just sitting there until I'm 26)- wish they'd take that into consideration.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: VERY friendly to differing food diets.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Small and pricey, but compared to the University I was at before(Arizona State University), it is fantastic. Quiet, clean, great heating/cooling system.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Everyone has to live on campus because there's enough housing for everyone. There's a lot of different options, but I feel like there's only 3 residence halls that people actually want to live in. The ones in the James Madison Wood quad could definitely use some renovations and beautifying and getting rid of the cockroach problem in Tower Hall. The pet friendly halls sometimes smell really bad and the interiors of the buildings just don't look very attractive and the kitchens aren't the greatest. But I enjoy Tower Hall and I like that there's an on campus apartment option.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of good food places but they are pretty pricey. Hardly any of them have student discounts which is shocking.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live on campus but from what I have heard it's not bad. I have heard rumors about it not being very safe.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: There is a lot to do if you have money. Many concerts and festivals are held in the warm seasons. There is always fun places to go downtown and around columbia. Lots of shopping and boutiques. It can be unsafe if you are wandering around downtown alone so just make sure you have a friend with you.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The security is high. Cameras are all over campus and we are alerted if there is ever a problem. Emergency poles are all around campus so if you need help they can come to you immediately. Lastly they are on call 24/7 and can pick you up if you need a ride. I love our security staff!

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Although stephens is a wet campus, there are no parties. There are limits to how many people you can have in your room and if you go over the limit you will get penalized. There is also quiet hours every weekend so it's impossible to talk or play loud music. If you want to find parties they will be in the bars and restaurants down town or in the frat houses affiliated with Mizzou.
