4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Some teachers are somewhat boring while others are great! I guess what really helps is the small teacher to student ratio, it helps with paying attention in class and in occasions the professor can even get to know you.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Not so sure about this yet, but I'm already hearing about internship opportunities and I'm barely a freshman with an undecided major... so it must be good

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel pretty safe here so far!

Campus Housing: Depending on where you chose to live it could either make it or break it. Cheaper places are old, while the somewhat new ones are expensive.... so your experience really depends on your financial situation and what you can afford

Greek Life: Never really got involved with it

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Not really Interested in Athletics but I've heard they are good

Overall Experience: Still getting adjusted to college life. Too many readings and barely any time to get involved as much as I'd like to.

Academics: There is a wide range of classes you can take, and the professors are very nice and willing to help you as long as you put in the effort to learn and show that you have an interest in the class. Sometimes the workload can get a little over bearing, only if you set yourself up that way by taking a lot of hours, labs or just procrastinating until the last minute to get everything done.

Diversity: Everyone is pretty accepting, there are catholic churches beside christian churches and Methodist churches. As well as people participate in international celebration, like having a fair to celebrate the different cultures in Asia. I have not met many, if any, students or facility who judges or treats someone different for their differences.

Drug Safety: Recently the school made it so that there is a no drug, alcohol and smoking/tobacco use on campus. This is great in my opinion because there less issues involving drinking, and the campus looks prettier without all of the cigarette buds on the ground, plus it helps those who have breathing issues a lot!

Campus Housing: Living in wisely hall is the best! It has a lot of space, it is close by to where my classes are as well as to everything else such as the student center. The security in wisely is awesome as well, the doors are locked and only someone who lives there with their student id can unlock the doors, so I feel pretty safe all the time. Plus since it is the honors hall, it is generally quiet so I can focus and get things done.

Overall Experience: Visiting this school and their passion about the students is what drew me in.

2 College Junior

Health & Safety: When it comes to sexual assaults on campus, you're pretty much on your own. I've gone to counseling several times and they usually asked me why I was out in the first place. The police were really nice though, they actively looked into the case and really worked to make me feel safe. I have a lot of respect for them.

Campus Housing: Living in Lodge is by far the best! It's clean and smells good and it has a cool security system to.

5 College Junior

Athletics: Everyone gets excited when football starts and the stores on campus are filled with pro-SFA shirts.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's a great school and the teachers are amazing but the security is pretty poor and I've had to have the police intervene twice.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I think the college is safe but things still happen.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I think the college need to update some more career services.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I didn't live in the on housing apartments for students.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I think Greek life is okay.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Everybody at the school is very supportive of the athletics team at the school.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: You really have to be prepared and study really hard the teachers give you what you earn. I had one class I liked because the teacher actually cared and wasn't just their for their paycheck.I think more teachers should be like caring and understanding with students. Yes I would choose a different school if i could do it all again I just don't think it is that much support with the staff and teachers.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Great proximity to your classes, and such an exciting atmosphere to be a part of.

Greek Life: There is a large "Greek Life" presence on campus, and in the community. They are extremely involved and all seem like wonderful people who are great representatives for our school.

Athletics: The all around love for every single sport, and club, on this campus is heartwarming. Everything is equal and everyone is happy to support their fellow Lumberjacks!
