Academic Flexibility: My schooling experience has been okay. It was frustrating though trying to get my FASFA settled for summer courses.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: My experience at the school is okay. I wish there was more of a variety of courses for my major here at the tarpon springs campus.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: The career prospects vary because it's better for some then worse for others.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: My specific major isn't the best for the campus I'm at, most of the great things for mine are at other campus'.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: My college experience so far has been great! There is a lot to do around campus.

Academic Flexibility: This school has many available class times and is very convenient for someone who has a busy work schedule. There is flexibility in the overall atmosphere, and they want to make this school work for their students, not make it a hassle.

Online Courses: I appreciated the versatility of the courses offered online, as well as the convenience and organization of them. Everything is spelled out for the student and it is easy to understand the course load and homework. The teacher, as well, was very easy to contact and get a hold of if any questions came up, which is what should be expected if you are taking an online course.

5 College Student

Overall Experience: The classes overall were very accommodating. They were smaller so you felt included in the discussion and not just another number. The teachers truly care about their students and want to see them succeed!

3 College Student

Overall Experience: From what I am aware of, I did not know of career opportunities per say. I was aware that there are services to put you in the right direction for your career but no job opportunities straight from the school alone.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The program was very simple to understand what need to be accomplished and the workload is very managable. Cirriculum was overall, very informative and pushed students to think about topics through different perspectives.

Overall Experience: This school has a great, welcoming atmosphere and pushes their students to succeed with all of the resources available.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am trying to get into a sub major of finance, but it has been taking a while to hear back from the school. The business program I am in now is okay. Basic, but without the opportunity for more financial aid I can't take classes over the summer so I'm pretty bummed. Hoping attending a university will be more exciting for me.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: I never noticed employers recruiting on campus at all. The quality of the career center makes you feel like they are doing something to help, but really I have gotten no where at all with their help.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Taking online classes has a lot to do with making things more flexible. Rarely my professor won't budge when I need an extention, but when I used to go into class, there wasn't much flexibility at all.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Peer-to-peer interaction is decent, but really I would prefer to network with people of a higher standard taking an entrepreneurial direction

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: My disability advisor is amazing. She is the only reason I did not give up on college. She was a blessing to me.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The quality of the career center wasn't beneficial for me. They couldn't get me an internship in the industry I want to work.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Teachers pick favorites. If they like you you'll do great. If not, it's going to be a challenge.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The amount of classes given is outstanding. There are some classes that you do have to go at a certain time because there's only one opening available, but once that fills up another class is opened and it's typically at a different time so it makes it available for other students to use that time. Teachers as well as your schedule is very flexible so you are able to choose which ever times and days you want to come to class.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Most of the teachers that use the online tools know what they are doing. So when you have an online class they automatically send you an email and explain what you need to be doing to stay on track. Online classes aren't really that difficult the only difference is it is online, so you have to pace yourself, never fall behind.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I have been told that SPC will help you look for a job if you go to the right people. Obviously going to the office is the best place to get any information. SPC has some of the best programs in the state and so having a degree from the school will really help you get a job. Of course you will get those jobs that look at SPC as a college and not a university, so they will be looking for a higher college, however most of the jobs will take the degree.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Seriously I can't get enough of these teachers. Almost every single one of them are extremely friendly and willing to help any student who come to them for help. Whether it's an email that they send a teacher or if they just go face-to-face, these teachers are probably the most helpful teachers I have ever had in my entire life. They are there to help you succeed not to watch you fail. I am just completely astounded by how amazing the staff is. The guidance counselors are very helpful, any staff member you see around campus will help you no matter what, and it is just amazing.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have been told by many teachers, elementary schools, anybody that I have talked to about how important in this degree from SPC is, and I have been told that it is excepted a lot more to have a degree from SPC then is from any other college. SPC has the best education program in the state. So I feel pretty confident in getting a job having a degree from this college.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Everything about the education program is amazing. The workload is a lot for someone just joining the college of education. But once you understand that it's a lot because it has to be for you to understand how much work a teacher has to go through it makes sense.

The curriculum is exactly what I would expect. Every single class I learned so much information that is useful that I can use in my classroom. I feel that none of the classes so far have been worthless and useless. I can use all the information that I have learned in that is a great feeling about this college.

Although I haven't taken any job opportunities because I already have a job, I can see the SPC has offered plenty of job opportunities for students who are looking for a job.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I can walk up to any teacher and have a comfortable relationship with them. They always respond when I need help, they're always there and will be willing to work one-on-one with you. I haven't had a teacher that hasn't been happy to help when you ask questions.

I would definitely choose this school in a heartbeat, if I had to choose a college again after graduating high school. SPC has offered me so many great opportunities to achieve success. Nobody has ever made me feel like I can't do the work, and I feel so comfortable being in this school.
