Although I love this college, it is still a community college. There are no parties or dorm living, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The professors are top notch and there are tons of available scholarships that are begging to be awarded. Overall, the faculty and staff are very kind and willing to help with any problems you may have from academic difficulties to future/career plans.

Clearwater has a very friendly neighborhood, therefore being at SPC has brought nothing but good stories back home. I am currently in my second semester at this school and have absolutely nothing bad to say. The teacher, so far, have been excellent in making sure that they are teaching the students the material, not just teaching us to test us. The school itself is beautiful, with a big courtyard, a gym and tons of curriculum activities available. Inside it is kept extremely clean which makes it look like a brand new school every time i walk in. The wall decorations are extremely fascinating with animals and beautiful artwork available in most of the buildings. The location of the school is very central, close to all the necessary stores that a college student might explore. Overall excellent experience, my biggest regret is not being a student here earlier in my life.

As a purely online student at St. Petersburg College, I have come to discover that all of my previous woes concerning being an online student were tackled well before I applied. The professors genuinely care about your experience as an online student and make your experience very personable. They encourage you to get to know your classmates and make classroom discussions an important aspect to your learning experience. The faculty at St. Petersburg college work with you every step of the way, whether it's through admissions, financial aid, or even campus security. They genuinely care about the health and welfare of their students (Their physical campus is now smoke-free, which is great for people who have Reactive Airway Disease, like myself!), and they go the extra mile to guarantee comfort and reasonable accommodation for their students.
