3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I hop it goes smoothly

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I haven't gotten that far but I do intend on transferring

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The process was fairly simple

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I really don't know yet. Classes haven't started.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I hav only gone thru the enrollment process but so far, so good.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It can always be better, but good enough.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The quality of the courses is good. Any gen ed is fairly easy while and course that is for your degree is more challenging. The professors are passionate and for the most part are ready to work with students. Classes are typically small; even lecture halls are less than 100 students.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Most classes I can fit into my schedule, but there aren't a lot of options. It's especially hard if you have to take a course with a teacher you don't like, and try to find a different professor that teaches the same class. Usually only one or two professors teach a class, making this near impossible.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: If a course is a gen ed, it is fairly easy. Any course that is more aimed at your degree is more difficult. It's a nice balance between the two. Class sizes are typically small. Even lecture halls don't exceed over 100. Professors are passionate and ready to work with students.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: From what I understand, my major is ranked pretty high among other schools. The workload is a lot, but as long as I manage my time, which I have, it's completely doable. The facilities are great, the only thing that really bothers me is that sometimes the classrooms are too hot for me, but that's not really a problem.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The classes feel as if they are challenging enough to where I'm learning new things and getting prepared for the future, but not so much that I feel like I can't understand anything.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Working around my job schedule was flexible and convenient. They have a good amount of spots to take classes where it works out for you. And finishing class work in between classes is a plus as well

3 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Only took two online courses, but the help and responding to questions were reasonable, even going to the campus to talk face-to-face worked out.

4 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: Friendly staff, quick answers to questions and sometimes immediate responses.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Every teacher is different, but they try their best to help their student be the best they can. Some work out well for you, and some might take more time than other, but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The workers take care of their students with their questions about the right career path. If one thing doesn't work then they find other solutions!

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: Every class is a different experience, new teacher and students, so learn as much as you can every time!

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Coming to Meramec, I had some bumps in the road but it was worth it after the long journey to my associates!

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's a great place to start when going off to college. It is a lot cheaper than going to a 4 year university to take gen ed classes.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Register for classes as soon as possible. As soon as possible.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I haven't really heard much about these but there is an alumni scholarship and job fairs now and then.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: You can be in the best class you've ever experienced and then land in a class that is just no. There are a variety of classes offered and many many programs. Again, the quality is up to you and your research.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There are workshops and events and such almost every month with email notice and posters and flyers. They do attempt in getting resources available to students but they aren't too proactive about it; you gotta really push to explore.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Research. Look up articulation programs between STLCC and other colleges to take advantage of an easier transfer. The art program is fabulous. If you are eager to learn instead of impatient and arrogant then you should be able to gain something, and the teachers don't ostracize you if you have little to know knowledge; it's about growth.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The art department is fabulous. You need to research your instructors before choosing classes as you always should since they can make or break your experience/grades. It is a good school to get your general eds for cheaper value, but you need to work for it as well.
