Food prices off campus are more reasonable than on campus. The food choices are very delicious and served swiftly. Also, there are a lot more selections than on campus. Go to Vincenzo’s for pizza because the food is prepared fresh, and the barbecue pizza is the best. The best thing, especially for resident students, is that Vincenzo's is usually open late and will deliver to the resident village. In the area surrounding the St. John's campus, there’s a healthy selection of choices, too.
For the more adventurous students, Manhattan and the rest of New York City offer limitless possibilities in terms of food (and everything else, for that matter). From Thai to Cuban, Mexican to Italian, the city has it all. Considering the top complaint against on-campus eating is that it is unbearably repetitive, the wide variety of city eateries should come as a breath of fresh air. Again, though, the distance can get in the way of getting a quick meal, and not everyone can afford to ride the subway every day.
