Off-Campus Housing: I know some friends who have an off campus house just about a mile down the road and they love it. They love the freedom of having open hours whenever they want and not have and RA or RD watching over them. It just isn't fun to have to find a way to classes. But if you have a bike it isn't bad.

Party Scene: I answered ok because Spring Arbor definitely isn't a party school, and that's good. They make sure that the kids are staying safe and focusing on things that are more important. Although there are the occasional parties off campus in a house that only a few people go to, but they aren't even fun. The best parties are the ones put on by the school or by students and are in the dorms themselves!

Off-Campus Dining: I really like having the town of Jackson only being a short drive away. The options range from Mcdonalds and other fast food restaurants to the more expensive such as Klavons Pizza or Red Lobster. Really there are quite a few options and all are in within a few minutes of driving.

Administration: The strictness of the students alcohol use and drugs in general are very strict. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING!! I am very thankful to go to a University that cares enough about their students to make sure they are staying out of trouble and doing the right thing. But i never feel like they are being that typical over bearing parent. They just don't want to see anybody do anything stupid.

Campus Food: Before i came to Spring Arbor i visited a lot of other schools and ate at most of those schools. If i were to base the food at Spring Arbor off of all the other schools food i tried, i would say that Spring Arbor has by far more variety, and better food quality. I will say that on weekends it can get a little dull, I cant complain though!

Scholarships: I just wish they were a little more motivated to talk to you. I felt like i had to do everything, and i think at a fine institution they should be the ones doing most of the work. Don't get me wrong i did eventually get the help i needed but i just felt it could have been better.

Campus Housing: For my freshman i year i chose to live in the dorms, and i am so glad i did! The floor atmosphere is amazing and it really helps you to build friend groups with guys in the hall. The rooms are quite spacious and i never felt cramped at all. Honestly i could truthfully say that i do not think there is any place better to live for your freshman year!

Off-Campus Housing: Don't know much about it

Party Scene: No alcohol which is awesome!

3 College Freshman

Administration: Open hours could be more but it's alright.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: GPA requirement & aid given don't match...

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Not that bad... Ada's is the best!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Of course small dorms but it's good!

Off-Campus Housing: I have never lived off campus, however the apartments are pretty nice. That is really the only off campus housing there is, and it is difficult to get in to

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There really are not many places for off-campus dining. And there are zero options past 11 pm

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: The only party I have been to on campus was a Halloween party. I do not really hear about parties other than SGA events.

3 College Freshman

Administration: I personally do not like the open hour rules or the parking rules. I guess I understand rules must be enforced, however I think there is zero leniency which is not fair. I believe that as adults we should be trusted in our rooms during open hours. I agree with not letting the opposite gender be in your room 24/7 however, I do believe we should be given more time in open hours. It is more inconvenient than anything.

Scholarships: Because one of my parents works at the school, I get a tuition benefit, however that does not cover room and board and it also makes it impossible for me to earn an academic scholarships because they all cover only tuition. I have been struggling to find ways to pay for rom and board and so far no one has really helped me.

Campus Food: I think that the food on campus is pretty average for being college campus food. However, I defiantly think some things could be improved. It would be nice if the DC did not stop serving and putting out new and warm food at 6 o' clock (dinner) because the athletes have very little options after they get out of practice. I also think it would be nice to have a place that was open all the time. Sometimes it is hard to find food when the Cougar den and the DC are closed. Something should be available at all times.

Campus Housing: I really enjoy living on campus because of the community it forms! I like being close to all of my classes and living with other girls. The only thing I do not particularly like about living in a dorm is all of the rules. I go to a private school so there are quite a few strict rules.

Off-Campus Dining: We have a place in downtown Jackson Michigan called "city crepes". It is a small mom and pop place located conveniently within the downtown area. There prices are average for crepes and are extremely delicious serving both meat and dessert options. The atmosphere is wonderful and the location is great too.

Administration: There are no rules that I see as a problem here at Spring Arbor. There are many people who do have a problem with multiple rules, but I know that these rules are put in place for our safety and to encourage good behavior in and outside of the class room.

Party Scene: When the word party is displayed there is always a bad connotation behind it, especially to Christian ears, but I believe that events we have on campus are just as fun as parties on other campuses or even our own. Themed events are the greatest ways to connect with people on campus. Whether it's ice skating in the city or participation in a 90's costume party people are having fun being goofy and hanging with their friends as well as making new ones.

Scholarships: I have received many financial aid statements both now as well as before attending Spring Arbor and each statement has had slight variations to them. I am assuming the variations in the plan is why I received a notice, but either explanations or meetings with a financial aid representative would have been great to have when these changes occurred.

Campus Food: Our dinning commons are set up in a very modern and comfortable manor with many different styles of setting and atmosphere across the commons. Eating in either of the windowed rooms are great places to see campus and nature all in one. The variety from the dinning commons has everything from pasta, salads, fresh sandwiches or panino, to home cooked styled meals. We are able to use our flew dollars in a secondary meal option called the cougar den, as well as another lunch option called Ada's kitchen (similar to a Panera Bread). We can purchase both meal and candy at both secondary options, and purchase other meals such as pizza, wings, or wraps. We have many different menus as well as timely options on campus for meals.
