Off-Campus Housing: cost of living near our school is extremely high for college students

Off-Campus Dining: Most of the off campus dining is located on one of the busiest streets in town ,making them difficult to get to because walking there is not very safe. Cost is decent at some places.

Administration: Some administors enforce the rules while others hardly ever enforce the rules, there isnt really any middle ground

Scholarships: I struggle with receiving financial aid to pay for school. For example, i have had to go to financial aid four times this month to get information about one loan and each time i am told to come back and talk to another advisor and i still have not gotten the info i requested. They even failed to pull a $3,000 grant onto my fall semester packet so i had to pay out of pocket a significant amount of money and then did not recieve the $3,000 until five months later. The advisors need more information to help the students.

Party Scene: I don't really "party" but the few i have been to are in the old Louisville area. It is either hit or miss whether or not the party is good. At our school i don't think it has a very positive experience because with it being a very small school, people begin to spread rumors about others at the parties

Campus Food: prices have continued to go up on food the past few years and the hours these dining options are opened have also decreased so you cannot even use your full amount on the meal plan. They also got rid of the breakfast option so it isn't available anywhere on campus

Campus Housing: the dorms at my university are located in downtown Louisville right on campus. There is only one dorm as of right now and you are now required to live there if you are a freshmen or sophomore. Each room is set up like an apartment room with two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms and typically four people live in each. the cost seems a bit much for what they offer.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus so I cannot give an applicable review

College Sophomore

Greek Life: Spalding University does not have Greek life for students

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Spalding does not have it's own fields for sports such as softball and soccer. The only teams at the school that have events on campus is volleyball and basketball, which makes it difficult to get a large student section at games that are not on campus.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: I do not party. I am not a big fan of the party scene so I do not attend many parties.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of places to choose from when trying to decide where to eat. However, not many of the restaurants recognize student discounts.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: There are plenty of things to do in downtown Louisville nearly every night. I never find myself bored. There are plenty of sporting events, attractions such as museums and architecture, and shopping malls. All of these things are easily accessible as well.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was a really long process, and there were a lot of things I had to go through before I could get my financial aid. But the school is expensive so it's worth it to get the extra money.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Louisville has some of the best restaurants around. There are so many options, including variety of foods and costs. We are a very organic/vegan/veg friendly community, so there are many places to offer this.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are a lot of security services on campus, and I don't think I have heard of anything happening on campus. There are some bad neighborhoods around the campus though, and there have been crimes where students have been victims right outside of campus. I would honestly not feel very safe at night alone.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I have never attended a sporting event personally, but I know that student athletes get out of class on game days or early for practice. A lot of people play sports and it is widely talked about on campus.

College Sophomore

Majors: I'm only a sophomore, so I haven't had an internship yet. I know it is required to graduate for psychology. I don't have any concerns trying to find one, I've heard the school is pretty helpful with that.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have never lived in the dorms, so I don't know much about them. I have only toured the suites, and from what I saw they look pretty nice and clean. Average space for a dorm room.

5 College Sophomore

Local Area: I absolutely love living and going to school in Louisville. There are so many things to do, and something is always going on downtown or in the highlands. Nightlife is excellent, if you are 21+.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I've heard people in class talk about some good parties, but most students go to U of L's campus to party.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: It's in a downtown area. Everything is old and there are a lot students and just people who aren't students there on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: Everything is easy going but at the same time its strict.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Just like highschool they are never in class

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: Sessions, again and the frequent breaks we get. we get a week off after every 6 weeks, its love. especially if you work and pay your own tuition like myself, that week off helps get some extra cash. its like as soon as you get annoyed with your professor, BAM your out on a break. Just stay focused.
