Off-Campus Housing: I lived all over Ashland in my years there. The Ashlanders is where everyone migrates to in their sophomore year. Kind of a right of passage for all Raiders. It's cheap and gets the job done and you have more freedom/space than the dorms. If you can find a good landlord that trusts you, you can end up in an awesome house. I shared a 3 bedroom with 2 other guys up by the hospital and had a great year there. After that I lived in a 2br townhouse on Tolman, a studio in the railroad district (my favorite part of town; so beautiful), and a 2 bedroom house on Glendale. My rent never surpassed $500 and if you can get roomies the cost will remain affordable. Most all experiences in off campus housing were problem-free and add to the appeal of Ashland.

Off-Campus Housing: The community is amazing and safe. It's a hippy town.
