Athletics: Athletics get a lot of support

Overall Experience: It's nothing to brag about. The campus is nice.

Party Scene: As a person who is underage, I am not really able to go to bars or anything of that nature. However, where there are frat parties, they can be pretty fun! The struggle is finding transportation.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: I do not believe the party experience has a positive impact on student experience. I'm sure if everyone stayed in and studied as opposed to going out, grades would be better. However, I believe that it is good that people get out and socialize every one in awhile. Parties are pretty frequent off campus over the weekends.

Academics: As a student in the nursing program, things are very difficult. My professors are hit or miss, mostly miss. Some have accents that I cannot even understand. One of my professors legitimately did not know how many states were in the United States of America yet she is qualified enough to teach me statistics?? I do not think so. The workload is ridiculously hard, but that just comes with the nursing program. The study areas are great, especially the library. The library also has models I can study with for Anatomy and Physiology.

Diversity: I believe that everyone is accepted on campus. There is a lot of diversity around, and almost everyone is extremely okay with it. There have never been any instances where I have seen anyone being discriminated against. Although I am not a minority, I am very welcoming to those who are and those that have different views than I do.

Drug Safety: The policy enforcement for alcohol use is pretty strict. There are only two parts of campus that you can have alcohol in, and you have to be 21. If you are 21 and you are carrying alcohol from your car to Evergreen / your apartment in Cougar Village, it has to be in a bag so no one can see it. If a housing employee sees it, they have to confiscate it. It is their thought that it will promote underage drinking if it is not hidden.

Health & Safety: I have never once felt threatened or endangered on campus. I walk by myself at night all the time and have never worried about being attacked. There have been a few cases of theft and assault, but everyone involved was caught not long after it occurred. The police send email alerts if anything has happened on campus, little or small.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am in a small field here on campus. There are about three other people in my major, so the professors are super attentive to us. They make sure we understand everything and that we are comfortable. My classes are relatively small, about 12 students each class with one professor. My smallest class is 5 students.

Campus Housing: Freshmen dorms are okay. Upperclassmen living is also mediocre. Evergreen hall has its perks, but is not worth the price tag. It's a better deal to live off campus and commute if possible.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: While we don't have a football team, our basketball and soccer games are really fun and interactive. The gym itself was just remodeled and is very pretty. The equipment is user friendly and the staff is very helpful if there are any questions or concerns. There are also several classes students can take including yoga, Zumba, aerobics, cycling, and even more.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's a great campus, really beautiful! My professors really care about how I and everyone else is doing in their subject, plus the other course we are taking.

2 College Senior

Athletics: I have no idea what sports we have.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I never feel unsafe at school whatever the time is.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love all of my classes even though they can be hard at times, my professors are always there to help me if I need it.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have not been to the career center on campus however I have heard great things about it and plan to be there within the next two years.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: We only have four sororities on campus. I rushed my freshman year and didn't feel as if I fit anywhere so I quit.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: I am not involved in any sports however I have a lot of Cougar Pride!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Overall, College isn't easy so I've learned, however I am really loving the expierence so far.

3 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: They make a take a survey but I feel it isn't enough.
