5 College Freshman

Athletics: Everyone here practically think about athletics 24/7.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I feel like the professors are very knowledgeable in what they teach and also passionate in what they do.

5 College Freshman

Local Area: The local atmosphere is basically perfect and I wouldn't change it any other way.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I don't live at campus so I don't have anything to say.

5 College Freshman

Administration: The school is very strict with their policies and rules.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I don't see any problems regarding to the safety of the campus.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I was able to quickly get aid without any hassle.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: It's not bad if you are out of state or too far from home.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There is a variety of things for all types of foods and prices

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: we have every race and religion at this school

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: i have not seen much of it

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: Everyone is very helpful and friendly. I can grab anyone on campus and they will answer any question I have. Also the staff is very supportive.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The school is a medical school and is based on overall fitness. It does not concentrate on a specific sport.

4 College Senior

Administration: The campus strictness at SCUHS is reasonable and average. If a problem or situation is address to campus security or faculty and staff, it is handled maturely and through an organized process. The security on site is friendly and very helpful.

3 College Senior

Local Area: There are plenty of shopping centers within a 5 mile radius of the school. If you wish to enjoy a bird's eye view, there is a neighborhood called Hawk's Pointe that overlooks the city. Students and faculty on campus are very friendly and welcoming to any questions about the campus or businesses/ restaurants nearby.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Aura Thai is a 5-7 minutes driving distance from campus. It is reasonably priced at $7-10 per plate. This restaurant serves traditional Thai food with plenty of vegan-friendly options. Service is fast and the waiters are friendly. If you are on a time crunch, be sure to ask for the check in advance.

4 College Senior

Administration: They try. Could always be better.

4 College Senior

Majors: Chiropractic, Acupuncture (Master's and Doctor's), Massage Therapy, Ayuverdic and soon to be PA program.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: I'm not here for dating. There are definitely likely prospects, if I was single.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of food options nearby. Unfortunately there are always more "fast-food", however, Sprouts, Fresh n Easy and Trader Joe's are within driving distance. Less than 2 miles.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Its school. No one likes attending classes, or doing homework.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I've lost a few things, and was able to reclaim them at lost and found.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There are plenty apartment homes close to campus. CSU Fullerton is 20 minutes or less away, so there is plenty.

3 Recent Alumnus

Local Area: The city of Whittier is quite remote. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants near by but cultural events, sports, and activities are limited. The school is located on the border of Orange County and Los Angeles County which means it is easy to find something to do within driving distance. But cars are necessary in the area.

Academics: There are really only 2 different career paths on campus. You choose to be either a chiropractic, acupuncture, or dual student. I chose chiropractic because it fit my belief system a little better. I think the chiropractic program is more dominant on campus and more fully supported than the acupuncture program. It has more internships available, a large workload for homework and classroom assignments, and more accessible facilities. The connections within the school system are amazing and I do feel like my program supports me as a student.
