Southeastern is a wonderful school! It has a strong, Christian atmosphere, with many chapels to choose from each week. The school is focused on making sure that the students have opportunities for Bible studies and prayer. It also has a great academic program. The professors are caring, and the class sizes are small, so you always can get to know your professor. The campus is beautiful and is located in between Orlando and Tampa, so there are a lot of great internships available in those cities. Also, there are a lot of activities for students, so there is no chance of getting bored!

The feeling of actually being out of your parents house and living on your own or with a roommate is great! At Southeastern there are plenty of options when it comes to selecting dorms. If you meet the qualifications some people have the privilege of staying in honor dorms such as Louisana Hall. Although all dorms on campus are affordable per say, there is a particular dorm I wouldn't select as a first choice when staying on campus and that is the Zachary Taylor Hall. This dorm hasn't been renuvated since the 60's and students who stay here have to use the public bathrooms which or located on each floor. Although this dorm has some negatives it if the oldest dorm and most affordable.

So far my transition from attending high school in New Orleans, Louisiana to now being an Incoming freshmen at Southeastern has been bitter sweet. Every since I've been here my life has changed for the better. The University is like a big family which reminds me of back home. I love that the professors or so passionate in what they do and never hesitate to lend a helping hand. One of my favorite experiences at Southeastern was my freshman orientation. That was actually the first time I've been on the campus and I can't even put into words how excited I was. This University so far has helped mold me into the man I am today and has gave me opportunities to help the community and be successful in my career!
