Academic Experience

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am only in community college right now which is taking care of a lot of required classes. When I get to SIU, I start my major, which is physical therapy.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: All the classes I need are available,

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are only 3 in my specific introduction to Psychology class that are majoring in psych, most are entering the field as teachers, criminal justice, etc. I require a lot of writing, composition classes, and my work load is heavy, always a lot of reading. I am also a full time mother who homeschools a young son, so y plate is full as is. A lot of long nights, I have enquired into opportunities as far as work/study programs, the college isn't very organized as far as this practice goes. It has been disheartening.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: I think we are required to take too many Humanities and English classes, as a money maker for the school, and should be able to concentrate more on our field of study. As I applied for my second Psychology class I found out that other than the introductory class we take in person, the rest are only on-line the rest of my two-year program. A huge disappointment to me. I will only have a few lectures to attend.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: the teachers are good in teaching us about the field of diesel technology. The course is just fine in the not a heavy or lite load, the curriculum is average and closely related to the subject matter. The facilities are pleasant and there plenty of job opportunities when i get my associates degree in Diesel Technology.
