Overall Experience: I prefer a lager campus, for a social experience.

Overall Experience: This school could be better if the staff were more professional. Other than that this is a good school.

Overall Experience: Its very cheap compare to other schools and the teacher are great

Academic Flexibility: I will admit, scheduling for your own classes, by yourself or without the assistance of a counselor is rather tricky but manageable.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I definitely do not regret starting college here. Although it is a two year college, it felt more like a four year university and offered plenty of help and recognition towards its students.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: My experience thus far has been great. The professors for which I have had so far were great and really seemed to take their job seriously. The classes were small, which was great.

Student Body: There is plenty of diversity at my school. Students from all backgrounds and ethnicities attend my school and the atmosphere seems rather pleasant.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition rates at my school seem to be rather fair. Plenty of financial aid opportunities are available for those who qualify and comprehensive payment plans are available for those whose financial aid is not enough.

Career Services: I am not very familiar with the post-grad services offered at my school seeing how I am an undergrad and it is a 2 year college.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: SSC is known for its fantastic art department and state-of-the-art classrooms. The classes are small further allowing for the instructor to really get to know all of his/her students.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There is plenty of assistance available for student enrolled or who are planning to enroll in this college. The faculty is amazing and a number of academic programs are offered at this school.

Academic Experience: The (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) MRI program will be very challenging for me. I graduated Radiological Science program in May 2011. It was a 2 year program that been very rewarding for me. I love helping others and learning new things so I decided to pursue a career more in depth in the field of Radiology. I will start my MRI clinical rotation in the fall 2015 as well as learning cross section anatomy. I plan to get as much knowledge as I can to prepare me for the workforce.

Overall Experience: South Suburban College has numerous open houses for various programs as well as job fairs for certain careers. My clinical experience in the MRI program is going to prepare to take my state board exam in August 2016 as well as starting a new career path in the field in radiology.

Online Courses: Online courses are very different from traditional courses because you don't have an instructor teaching you. You have to go online to review your assignments and intereact with classmates through email.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm a Chicago resident, which is $300 per credit hour due to out-of-district fees. Because I work in Lake County, IN, I qualify for a reduced rate of $155 per hour, which is a special tuition rate. I'm so grateful for the special tuition through my employer. I don't qualify for financial aid because I'm over the credit limit for community college. South Suburban College is the only community college that offers the MRI program in my region that convenient for me.
