4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I love the people the teachers and staff there (most of them) they are all different and we can learn from each other.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: There are all sorts of different classes and professors that teach in an array of styles, generally the classes stay between 15-25 kids and everyone can find a class they would enjoy.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Hard to describe, the events and helpfulness of the school like to fade in and out due to weather, season and how long we are into the semester.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: It's good if your best at learning on your on and at your own pace but not so much if its hard to time manage things which can be difficult at times yet super rewarding when you finish something big.

5 College Senior

Student Body: We have all sorts of people from everywhere someone for everyone to connect and learn from, it's very diverse and open, a free campus.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I don't see how I can live off of the aid that they give me so I have to take loans out as I'm a full-time student and can not work due to school and physical inability. They cut 1000 dollars off of my aid because I was only taking two classes yet I needed to so I could get off of probation I received while taking classes and working last semester.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They give you the opportunity to get work study jobs and on-campus ones as well, but its doesn't happen too often.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Depending on the teacher the workload and curriculum can be either too light or too heavy but generally its not too bad.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Teachers are generally understanding and wish to help you, they know life gets in the way and will make room and accommodations for you as long as you ask in advance, but this is for the really passionate teachers, some will just get the job done and not help you out very much.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: They have nice dorms, a gym, fitness center, study rooms, library, quiet halls, small snack cafe, loud study/hang out longue and a dinning hall overlooking the beach on campus.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Some classes are available others are not. Depending on the subject, there my be only one class that can be filled quickly. Some classes also don't have flexible times.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It has been an average experience. If I could do it all over I would have preferred to go to a school out of state, preferably on the other side of the country. The school is convenient for me as it isn't difficult to take the bus, but bus passes aren't cheap. I also don't like having to live at home near family. I would have preferred to go to a college and stay at dorms.

3 College Junior

Student Body: It is a small college so there isn't a lot of student interaction outside of the classroom.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I would advise to try to get scholarships and to rent books online if need be or use library resources for assistance. E-readers can also be helpful in obtaining books. There may be hidden costs depending on what classes you take. The costs of college probably wont be getting cheaper , any scholarship money will help. Search online for scholarships.

College Junior

Career Services: It is a community college so I doubt a person would be going for post grad studies unless they were starting for a new degree with a cheaper alternative in mind.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: It was okay. It was a new experience for me to take online courses but I managed just fine. It allowed me to adjust my schedule and class time around.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The workload is manageable and the classes are fine.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The resources are okay but not as extensive as they would be in a larger college.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It is a fairly small college so resources aren't as numerous compared to bigger colleges but it is okay.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: You could walk in in athletic center or student center, immediately they'll greet you. I 've build some relationship with people in those building

3 College Junior

Career Services: They offer programs and information regarding your major. If you constantly see a counselor they'll show you additional like career services or give you connection with people on your degree.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Beginning I wasn't confidence with I what degree I wanted to major in. I took some courses I didn't need for Early childhood Education until I started seeing the counsel I became on the right track. It was frustrating receiving credits that wasn't for my major, but i'm near done to transfer to ASU.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career services is really helpful with students, they offer job employment and internships.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Our student body is tremendously diverse. Cultural diversity is very vital in our everyday life. Educate individuals to respect other background culture. I am catholic, but I have encountered with Muslim, Hindu, who I have became close with. Media doesn't always portrait cultural differences appropriately or in a respectful manner until attending this college I hold a highly respect of everyone cultural differences.

Student Body: I feel like the neighborhood that this Community College is in forces students to accept diversity so we get along quite easily. Our average student consists of a lower income household, but that is what makes us more determined to get a degree.
