3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I haven't been here for a long time so I really can't say much.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The walkways are well lit, so when walking alone in the dark, I do not feel completely vulnerable. There are also call buttons that alert campus security that are stationed around the campus. Whenever there was a sexual assault, we would receive an email alerting us of the crime, although you never really hear much about anyone being investigated or kicked out for rape. The campus security is located on the opposite side of the campus from the majority of the dorms, which creates a slower response time than possible, so that could be something that they could improve upon. The is also a parking lot referred to as the "rape lot" due to attacks committed there, faculty members that I spoke to about this were against the nickname and wished students would call it by its given name. Overall, I think that the health and safety of students is important to staff and students.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: You're fine in Honors Hall, but at risk for assault if out at night or in one of the "lesser" dorms.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: About once a month an email will come about some kind of harassment. If students bring their concerns to the campus security more, the safer campus could be. There is always a couple patrol cars out throughout the evening, and quite a few on big activity weekends. I personally feel safe on or near campus.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: never had a problem with security always saw campus police out patrolling.
