4 College Junior

Overall Experience: A 12:1 student faculty ratio ensures a high degree of quality, as far as the classroom experience. Most, if not all, of my professors have been caring and passionate individuals who are good at their jobs - this makes learning easier.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Great small school where teachers know you by name and are willing to help you outside of class.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's the best college experience I've ever had! I am very pleased with all of the advisers and professors that I have worked with thus far. I am referring all of my current students to Siena Heights University.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I appreciate some of the professors at the Metro Detroit location. I am currently a graduate student and appreciate the knowledge and resources shared by the classroom instructors. SHU professors seemingly display a zeal with us students as we learn hands in the classroom setting.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Everyone has been so helpful throughout my transfer process

Administration: If there is an issue then the campus safety will be on it, but they do not go out of their way to check if there is overnight parking in the commuter lot or anything.

Off-Campus Housing: There are many different apartment complexes, but mostly students choose to live in houses around Adrian.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many Chinese buffets, a chipotle, steak n' shake, and the normal fast food chains.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: Financial Aid did their very best to get the the most money that they could and as much scholarship money as they could give.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Normally its just your average cafeteria food. When there are large tours however, the food gets better.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't really have Greeks and non-Greeks

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love attending my school it is very divers and family orient. It is a older school so that is what make it unique.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors are usually cool and the class sizes are around 20-30 people.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It is just way to expensive to attend this school

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Cost is not bad at all around Adrian, but the only bad thing is that places around here do not say open 24 hours. For example, burger king does not stay open 24 hours. McDonalds is always busy late nights, but there are some decent restaurants for breakfast and lunch on the weekends and also the week days.

3 College Freshman

Academics: Well I am currently majoring in Criminal Justice and it is not bad so far. I actually like it and the professors are always willing to help. And it is easy to get a job or internship around here.

3 College Freshman

Academics: It is okay not much to talk about people would have to see for their self's

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I do not know a lot about off-campus housing. The city is small so possibly you could find a home.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are not a lot of places to eat at all. you know their are two university's located in your city. so why not build more dining options. like buffalo wild wings, red robins, and famous daves. They do not have a lot of food options at all. only one, which is steak and shake.

4 College Freshman

Administration: They do not really bothered with students. they are not strict to me as a catholic campus should be. which to a college student is great!

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: My track and field scholarships was only 6,000 for this year. my financial aid did not cover a lot if I did not take out loans I most likely would not have went here. while a public university I would not have paid so much.

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: I am not a part person but, when I did it was okay. they usually take place at the basketball house, the this club called the café The first and last Thursdays are the best days to go because, Adrian College is there also.

Campus Food: We do not a lot of food options to choose from. they have the same thing daily. A student paying 33 grand a year. I feel more food options should be applied. The items they sell at the SHU Shop are very pricey, when it is not worth it. for example, a bag of chips basically costs two dollars. all students do not have a car on campus. They do not cook the food properly sometimes. I got sick from the food twice here because it was not cooked thoroughly. overall, the food here is bad, it taste like lunch food nobody wants that. honestly, they should add a subway or, another food franchise.

Campus Housing: I love the small class sizes. However, I cannot experience the true college feeling, like basketball games or any other sporting events. There are several individuals who are introverted while I, on the other hand is an extroverted person. There are not enough amenities like café, food options. The cost is why I am transferring this year. I understand it is a private school but the cost is not worth it. 33 grand a year! The whole campus needs to be remodeled badly.
