Athletics: Aside from the basketball team , there isn't huge interest in other sports. Basketball is huge in campus and is the sport that gathers the most interest. Being in a mid-major athletic often if the result of this, but the other sports (no football), are able to win conference championships regularly.

Overall Experience: Small campus, ok dining services, sub-par dorms for freshman and the majority of sophomores, but it's really the sense of community that makes Siena a good place to spend your four plus years.

Party Scene: We have cabs lined up outside for trips to the bar and it's easy to call a cab if they're already filled or gone. The house parties are hit or miss. Some nights are fun and really busy, while others are barely existent unless you live in the townhouses and are at something more low-key.

Party Scene: The house parties can be fun. Everyone pretty much gets in and there is never a charge. It's always BYOB, but can't complain since you can basically walk into anyones house who's having a party and go for free. It's fun and helps people socialize.

Academics: The professors are good and helpful. The workload and stress is average. We are only taught by professors, not T.A.s, and most have a doctorate or are in the process of earning one. Our classes are so small and basically personalized to the class's needs. The professors actually know your name and know you. It's nice to have personal relationships with such knowledgable people.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There's definitely not that many minorities, but the people who are here and are a minority are treated equally and with respect.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: We can all have a good time, but only if you want. I know a lot of people who go out to socialize and don't even drink. Nobody is judging you if you're sober.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Nothing is better than a Siena basketball game on a Friday night. It's so fun and brings everyone together. I also like the soccer, baseball and hockey games. We have an active and healthy campus.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: This is probably the safest campus you could ever set foot on. I think because we have very active public safety and the students here create a warm, open, safe environment because that's just the type of place it is.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Professors care and want you to be successful. Most of them will go out of their way to make time to help students.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: We have great alumni and they're always willing to reach out. A lot come to the career fair to recruit awesome Siena students. The career center is supportive and helpful.

Campus Housing: Typical for freshmen and sophomores, not too nice. Junior year you're upgraded to super nice housing and senior year you get a townhouse on campus, which is pretty awesome and something to look forward to.

Overall Experience: Siena is the best because everyone is respectful. Our community is warm and kind to everyone. It's a completely different atmosphere than any other school I've visited (friend's schools or tours). We all have a general sense of caring for each other and supporting one another. To be a Siena Saint, one must always hold the door open. We all deeply respect one another, so we always feel obliged to be courteous. We are even known for our door holding and polite attitude.

The professors are pretty much great and want everyone to succeed. Many are willing to stay late and set up appointments outside of their office hours if they don't work with your schedule.

Siena is located in Loudonville, NY, and it's not only safe, but lovely. You can go for a run alone, off campus, without a phone and not fear anything. The homes and people are just lovely. I knew this was a great area when I was about .5 miles always and it was only my first time visiting because I saw the cutest old couple decorating their beautiful stone home with Christmas decorations. We're still so close to big cities, like Albany and Saratoga, so we get to enjoy all of their events, including Larkfest and Chowderfest, just to name some of my favorites.

This is such a great environment to create an amazing college experience. Siena truly provides "The education of a lifetime."

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Not really any crime on campus. Security is good as well because public safety is always patrolling.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The one thing I like the most about this school is how much you learn and how most of the professors really care to see students succeed. The classes range from 9-25 SO students get the attention they need from professors. There are many classes offered at Siena but going into your freshman year admissions makes your schedule for you so I ended up with a few that I didn't want at all.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Siena has one of the best alumni programs and is known for that. Lots of alumni come back to Siena later looking for interns and often hire them after. The career center is really helpful in creating your resume and cover page and helping you find internships.

Campus Housing: Buildings are okay. From the townhouses to the academic buildings it's a bit of a hike. Overall the buildings are subpar. The dorms are not very nice and the buildings aren't always clean.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The basketball team is the main sport of Siena. They're pretty good and usually have a good fan base.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Very cliquey and feels kind of like high school because it is so small. Most of the teachers are good and really want to help students succeed. For me I get really bored of going out every weekend because it's the same thing every time. I don't hate this school but I definitely don't love it.
