3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The workload was manageable as long as you make time for school (homework, attending class, etc). The instructors will encourage their students if need be. Along with encouragement the instructors give, they are also approachable.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It's not easy, any technical program is going to be challenging. That's why I need scholarships because I cannot work, and do school. So I need to find sources of income, that way I can focus on getting good grades.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: When in class I find that the work load and homework is reasonable but still demanding. At work there is less learning than was hoped for because of the co op course that we take. We end up not doing a lot of things that we learned in class but just end up doing oil changes all day. I do get a chance on occasion to work with a tech.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The teachers are excellent, they care about their fields and about educating students. There are a lot of courses offered. My only complaint is that the workload is pretty substantial. It's community college, statistically speaking most students have jobs (even full-time jobs) outside of school but instructors don't seem to take this into consideration when assigning homework, which can make it difficult to keep up and receive good marks even for otherwise excellent students. There doesn't really seem to be a lot of concern from instructors regarding the amount of homework/time commitment, either. One of my instructors expects us to spend several additional hours reading material outside of class that will be briefly touched upon during his lectures, and another asked us about our work loads and then essentially told us "UW is worse".

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The staff and professors are all helpful and will help you if you just ask.
