4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are a variety of different courses offered and the professors are all pretty knowledgeable and educated with what they do. No class sizes exceed 70 kids I would say and even those are only general education classes.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They have the career center where people go to be linked up with internships and alumni jobs when it reaches that time.

Health & Safety: We did have a gang on campus this year where two of my sorority sisters got attacked by and their phones stolen. That was a little frightening, but other than that incident I feel pretty much safe being on campus at night or alone.

Campus Housing: Honestly, campus housing is what attracted me to this school and made my freshman year 1,000 times more enjoyable. Being in an apartment type setting with 3 other girls with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a kitchen and living room was awesome. They had pretty much everything you would use off campus and it made it really easy to get together with friends and meet lots of people. The cost is a bit up there, but it is a fair trade off for everything you are getting. Since basically everyone lives in these new suite style dorms, the process is easy and it is convenient. They are right on campus and all near each other.

Greek Life: Greek life is not an essential part of campus, but it does have a lot of influence. Sororities and fraternities are seen all around campus raising money for different causes, recruiting new students, and just having a great time being together. They are just like regular kids and non-Greeks tend to see that.

Athletics: The gym overlooks the football field and it is a great facility for all students to use with new equipment. The rec center is a place where athletes and non athletes go to work out and play sports. The sports teams are pretty good and lots of kids participate, which then allows for a lot of fan support and team morale.

Overall Experience: They have a great program for my major and are very hands on in your education. The professors and staff are well educated and helpful and I have already worked at the elementary school on campus during my freshman year as a big buddy to two young kids. It has only made my passion for teaching stronger and I was able to get a little bit of experience early on. The campus and the people really make it feel like home and it is an atmosphere that I would definitely choose if I had to pick all over again.

Overall Experience: Courses and professors are good all around, class sizes are small too about 30-40 per class so you well get to know the professor and classes vary since we take Gen-eds, some gen-eds are more boring than others and some are down right fun, I most recommend philosophy, but each professor has a different style and teaching method so it would be smart to look online to a teacher recommendation site for are school to see who's best to take for your learning style.

Overall Experience: For careers and degrees for Ship is like saying your degree will not be looked at with praise as a student from Harvard or Yale, or an IVY league will have, but are school I'd also under rated in academicsome as well, a good amount of our bachelor programs are a credited, but over looked because of the high acceptance rate, but there are some very successful people that came from this school, so your degree won't be looked down apon as a bottom feeder as well especially I'd your program is acredited, and if it isn't for example I learned more secrets in my economics class than I ever would at one of these D1 schools, heck my professor had to teach some of his fellow Co workers the same lecture he taught us on supply and demand and some of the Co workers came from Harvard, so that tells you even if your program isn't acredited and from ship, you will learn some valuable stuff not everyone knows, so don't be afraid if ship is a smart school or not because it is.

Campus Housing: The new sites are cool just a bit expensive but I use to live in the older traditional that were cheaper, to be honest I'll say this, the way I thought I would right I'd to live in campus at least your first year because it's the college experience and how you can make a lot of friends and meet know people, than second year I stayed on campus and third year I moved off to an appointment, but this is just me and my older experience with the cheaper traditional dorms so, it depends if you want to spend the money on the suites, commute, or live off campus but it's also a horrible experience to be a freshmen living off campus as well because you can't really meet new people as easily as a dorm so I would at least live on campus for one year to see what's it's like, I had fun.

Greek Life: Depends on Greek for experience, but it definitely has a wide range, from social to community service to traditional, all depends on which one you take, but I have heard of no word of hazing in any of them so thats a plus, just as advice make sure you have the time and money to join these.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Depending on the sport were consider top 20 in D2, I want to say our best sport is track, volleyball, field hockey, and baseball, but make sure you research to make sure.

Overall Experience: My overall eperience at this school coming from Philadelphia is this school isn't big but not exactly small either, it's well appreciated and in small words it's what you make of the experience, you can decide to stay to yourself and. It interact with others or be out going and make new friends, same goes with your education where you can choose to use all of the school's resources which is great here because since it'seems a medium size school professors actually know you and can help you during office hours, but it's up to you if you want to receive that help. The school does have variable that you have to become use to like it's country /small town setting and it's split between Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and maryland'so culture a bit but the towns people are really nice in my perspective and you'll eventually get use to the cow manure small and Amish and Meta knight area but it's a great school for people who aren't ready for a giant D1 like Penns tate and Florida but want to do something bigger than a D3 school as well, and don't be afraid of the high acceptance rate the school is very well on academics, I can't say IVY league high but we are accredited in some majors, but make sure your major is OK for this school.
