Overall Experience: There are several on-campus jobs that students can work, ranging from cafeteria jobs, to coffee shops, to tutoring.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: So far, I have only had trouble with one online class that goes through MindTap, and the professor claims she has had no previous issues with it. Workload of online classes is definitely doable. The registration process is very easy. All you have to do is make an appointment with an academic counselor, and then choose which classes you would like to be enrolled in. Professors of online courses are extremely helpful and flexible when it comes to any issues or confusion.

Student Body: Typically, all students are friendly. If another student needs help with anything, I have not met one student who will deny them. As far as I'm concerned, there is a lot of diversity at Sheridan College, but I'm not sure how much that means, considering I grew up in a town of less than four hundred people.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: So far, I have not had to pay any money out of pocket for tuition and fees here. The financial aid office is extremely helpful! Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships through academicworks.com, and they really only have to fill out one general scholarship, then are matched to scholarships based on that.

Academic Experience: I am currently working on pre-requisites for the nursing program, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I cannot wait until I'm actually enrolled in the program! The workload so far is definitely doable, and the curriculum is fantastic. I get to work on classes I will specifically need for my degree, even though I'm not in the program officially yet.

Academic Experience: Professors and admission counselors at Sheridan College are so helpful! There is also a study center, and a student help center, where one can get their papers proofread by other students.

Campus Resources: The student center and libraries are completely open to the students, and I really appreciate that. Campus activities are always going on, and are definitely fun! The campus is so beautiful. I just love it here!
