SU is a very lively school during the day. Many students rush to classes with food/snacks in their hands. Occasionally, trash will be found lying on the ground, but it is quickly cleaned up. The campus is well-maintained and kept clean. Many students tend to say that some buildings are more rundown than others because of a lack of renovation. However, newer buildings on campus are phenomenal. The student and athletic centers are well-kept and are quite busy during the day. The gyms are big and are very capable of holding many sports teams inside of them at one time. The school continues to grow and build new buildings.

Halpin-Harrison Hall is where most students' FYS, math, and science studies take place. SU tends to make renovations and updates on the school every year. There are plans to build a new recreational center, including a new gym and possible indoor pool. Libraries on campus are very adequate for student needs. There are private study rooms for students who like it extra silent while they are trying to prepare for classes. SU generally plans many activities throughout the week to keep students entertained. Most of the time, a sports game will be in process or there will be activities and free items at the Brandt Student Center.

There is no coffeehouse on campus. SU does have a store that sells coffee on campus in the Brandt Student Center. It is called Jazzman's, and it plays jazz over the speakers.
Movie Theater on Campus
The Apple Blossom theater is the most popular theater students go to. However, there are no movie theaters on campus.
"Green" Initiatives
The school does have recycling bins, but there is not much action in the whole "going green scene," nor is there an enforcement of the recycling. The most recent activity on going green is the printing system. SU has printers for each dorm building, in which nothing gets printed unless a student makes a sign-in name and password for the system. This aims to help reduce the amount of paper being printed every day.

Favorite Things To Do
Many students like to play games of baseball, soccer, basketball, etc., on campus. SU has an outdoor basketball court, where many students hold games. Also, many students will walk over to the Brandt Student Center and go into the game room, which holds the Wii, pool table, flat-screen TVs, and pingpong.

Clubs and Organizations on Campus
Students usually join organizations by attending events advertised by clubs. All of the clubs meet outside of the library and set up tables with descriptions of the club. Students easily just write their name and email address, and then they're in the club. Also, students can start a new club, but they have to make sure they can obtain enough people.
