5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: DPS is always on call, always available to help. Hardly any issues ever.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love the athletics, most of my professors. Some of my professors are very bias, but other than that its great.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The services are pretty good, a decent amount of variety.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Its a D3 school, so of course the facilities aren't the largest but they're super clean and modern.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love just about everything. There are a few things that I would change like the food.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: You can literally leave your $2000 MacBook on a table in the student center and walk away and no one even thinks about taking it. So safe, all around. Great student body

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I haven't met a professor yet that didn't care about their students. They teach really quality courses that teach you not just about the content, but about how it relates to life. Class sizes make sense for each class.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Degrees from this school - especially in the Conservatory - are worth a lot. You really learn what you need to know - there's no memorization, it's REAL learning.

Campus Housing: The housing is outdated a bit, but it's a small school; you wouldn't expect penthouse-quality dorms.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: We're a Division 3 school, so athletics aren't that big of a deal. It's still fun to go and support, but nothing like what you see in college games on TV!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love going to SU. It's great if you're looking for a place to feel like you fit in. Once you find your niche, everything is great. People really pursue their passions and are surrounded by similar people that make college fun!

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus, the campus is small and there is a constant presence of campus security.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Shenandoah is wonderful. The campus is gorgeous, class sizes are small, and it has a small town feel. The professors are always willing to help and there are so many great resources to help students throughout the year.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am a nursing major, and I know I will have no issue getting a job after graduation. During the process of getting my degree I will have clinicals in different settings, mostly nursing homes and hospitals, this will help me get my foot in the door and get my name out there so that hospitals will know me when I apply.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Since Shenandoah is such a small campus, the athletic facilities are relatively small, and sports seem to be viewed as they are in high school.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Shenandoah is an amazing school with small class sizes, a small easy to learn campus, a diverse campus, and all of the faculty strives to see their students succeed.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Housing on campus is generally pretty good and get better with each grade. The dorms are usually right on campus so they convenient when going to class.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Our teams are not the best in the area, but we do have a lot of school spirit and always show our support

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life is not very prominent on campus. All fraternities are academic and volunteer fraternities. But they still hold fun events that everyone can get involved in.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Our Department of Public Services are open 24/7 and are always ready to come to the aid of any student on or near campus. I feel extremely safe on campus

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: All of my professors are friendly and ready to help

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors are hands on with helping you find a job

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The Safety officers on campus are amazing and will try to help you however they can. They try to make sure every student is safe.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: You'll be challenged here if you want to be. Being at Shenandoah means taking your education and life into your own hands - your experience here will be what you make it.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: If you do what you're supposed to it all works out well - at least it has for me.

The overall experience at Shenandoah University is really refreshing. It makes students feel safe that they are on the right path to success in life. It also makes them feel comfortable and prepared enough for grad school once they graduate. Even though there are many schools out there in the world, many students enjoy SU because of the all-around connection they have with the teachers, students, and other staff members on campus.

SU prepares students for future careers in many areas and through many ways. Teachers constantly remind students what to expect in graduate school or things they need to remember for certain fields. SU, as a whole, helps prepare students by having job fairs. Shenandoah invites up to about 100 volunteers to come and talk about their job experiences. The volunteers explain to students what their college life was all about and how the transition is from college to the real world. Shenandoah is very unique because almost every student is there to work and study hard for a future career. The school isn't like many others, where students choose to attend because of parties or frats. SU seems like many of the students are there to meet new people and to expand their horizons.
