3 College Freshman

Diversity: Well, it's an HBCU, so there's hardly any other races than African Americans. I've seen some mixed people, a couple of white people, and a few Hispanics. When it comes to sexual orientation, half of the girls are gay or either bi, but they are accepted. There's about eleven gay guys, but they are accepted as well. We have people who come from rough backgrounds to people who came up in a normal environment. Mostly, everyone are Christians. I met one Atheist though. No one cares about politics. Only a few people had the nerve to vote, which is very discouraging and probably part of the reason why the Republicans gained control over everything.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Being that its an HBCU obviously its majority black.. But there are some foreign students who are clearly here on scholarship to play sports.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: The diversity on campus is average, there are international students, but they are thereon scholarship. It has been made clear that if they were not on scholarship, they wouldn't have attended the university, but having the funds for an education is everything. The economic, political and religious backgrounds are the same across the university in my opinion, granted some students come from more harsh and urban communities than others.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: We have most like Black African American students becuase Shaw U is a HBCU but their are somewhat of international students that attend the college

4 College Freshman
