Campus Quality: The campus is beautiful and everyone is friendly. It is high quality living and learning at SPU, but if your going to live on campus be prepared to follow rules like a 10 year old.

Campus Quality: The bet part of the school is the coomu nity as a peaople. I know all thefaculty and staff and thy know me by name. the fact that I am Black probably makes it easier but just last quarter I was able to talk with the provost and dean in the same day due to the small coomunity feel of the school..

There are several workout facilities located on campus: one in Hill Hall, another in Emerson Hall, and of course, the gymnasium. All of them are free for students and open until 11 p.m. There isn't a whole lot in terms of exercise equipment, but the basics suffice for most students (free weights and cardio machines). There is no swimming pool or on-campus sports field, and the track is a little sorry looking—but it's a small school and what can you do? The Health Center is a great resource and much easier and cheaper than finding a local physician, not to mention a lifesaver when you have strep throat a week before finals and need antibiotics pronto. Also, it does you no good if you graduate from college but lose your mind in the process, so at least one quarter of utilizing the Counseling Center is recommended for everyone.

The library is large, with many computers available as well as personal rooms for working on group projects or studying in private. There is also the Interlibrary Loan system that links SPU to at least five other institutions, so students have access to books and media resources the University may not have on hand. Ordering books from this loan system is simple, and the requested material usually arrives within two or three days, upon which you will receive an e-mail notification. The library isn't open 24 hours, but it does extend its hours for finals week each quarter. SPU also boasts a Center for Career and Calling and a Center for Learning, available to help students with disabilities, career anxiety, or communication majors in need of a tutor in order to take biology to fulfill a graduation requirement. The greatest part about all of these facilities is that they are free for students. Also, these facilities supply many on-campus jobs for students.
