This school is a pretty resourceful, especially for a Community College. From what I heard, this school has really outstanding programs and majority of the people I know attended Seattle Central. Most of the teachers there are very friendly and helpful as well. Almost all of the teachers I've had were really flexible with their schedule when it comes to students needing help outside of the classroom. Although it lacks some benefits such as dorms or rooms that students can rent. Some of us have hectic class schedules throughout the day, so it'd be nice to have a room to chill in for a couple of hours instead of going all the way back home. Also, applying for classes can be hard as well. Seattle Central has a lot of classes but not enough for students to get by. This is because Seattle Central doesn't have enough teachers for certain classes and it really effects students trying to finish their associates in such. That's just a few of the downfalls in Seattle Central. Other than that, I believe its a really good school!

My first year of college has treated me well! I haven't reached that point where I'm excessively stressing yet, so I'm good for now. The only stress I had to deal with was paying for my classes. I somehow didn't receive Financial Aid due to some misunderstandings. I really wished High School gave a class on College, Financial Aid, and how to save money! Its my first year in college, but its also my first time living in Seattle. I was pretty overwhelmed at all the shops and places I had easy access to, so the first couple of months I didn't manage my money well. We learn from our mistakes. Majority of the people in Seattle Central are very friendly, really nice, and are open to answer any questions with a smile! I learned that when it comes to enrolling into classes each quarter, you have to be on that computer pronto or those classes can be filled within a few days. I'm learning and starting to love college and its experiences!

The computer network in Seattle Central is pretty good! Accessing computers and printers are really convenient because they have multiple places that have a lot of computers. There wasn't a day where I couldn't go on the computer. One of the downfalls is the wifi. Wifi is easily accessible only to students because we each have a student ID number and password that allows us to get it. But while roaming around campus, some areas are really weak and some don't even receive signal at all. Another is the laptops. The laptops haven't been upgraded and so have the features in it such as Microsoft Word.
