Guys & Girls: The Claremont school's make an interesting dynamic in terms of relationships. Scripps is all women - but there are plenty of guys at the other Claremont schools.

Guys & Girls: Scripps women are the best!

Guys & Girls: Everyone is gorgeous. Students know how to dress (being that it is California) and everyone is really nice to one another. I love that everyone looks so good and yet at the same time are really nice human beings.

Guys & Girls: EVERYONE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. There are really a VERY wide variety of people here. You have sporty/prepy people at CMC, nerdy people at Mudd, artsy people at Pitzer, women who don't really give a damn what people think at Scripps, and a wide mix of people at Pomona. If you have a type, it will probably be represented at one of the Claremonts. Dating between the schools is totally normal and encouraged even. There's a VERY strong hook up culture.

Guys & Girls: The girls here are gorgeous. And so are the guys. (Yes, we do actually see boys on campus) If one was really so inclined, they could definitely make partying every single day of the week a thing. Generally Scripps is pretty quite, but that just means you have a nice clean place to sleep after stumbling home in the middle of the night.

The issue of guys and girls is always a question of prospective students. Many students lose interest in Scripps once they find out that it is all female, but this is something that the student body holds great pride in. Scripps is the women's college of Claremont with a body of strong and outspoken females who study hard, but who know how to have a good time. Scripps students are generally considered, amongst the 5Cs, to be independent intellectuals who are active leaders and involved members of many of the activities and organizations on and off campus. The women are not afraid to speak their mind and to stand their ground. Unique and intelligent, Scripps females are all beautiful; each in their own way. The women of Scripps can be intimidating and sometimes exclusive, which has led many to describe Scrippsies as overly proud and arrogant.

While the college is indeed only female, males are far from scarce on campus. As a women's college, Scripps is a natural place of interest for guys. Sexual promiscuity has been known to be present at Scripps, and there are generally no issues concerning guy and girl relationships, as everybody is accepted for who they are. It is rare to find a student who feels isolated or pressured by peers to do anything beyond their comfort level.

Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
Most Scripps classes are all female, but students often meet students of the opposite sex in classes on one of the other campuses. Scripps is also a popular place for students of the other colleges to come hang out because of its attractive lawns and abundance of gathering areas. There is also a hub of students at the Motley as well, so many people meet guys and girls just by walking around campus. However, the best places for finding hotties and hooking up are definitely through interest clubs and social events such as parties and dances. Nearly all clubs and organizations are open to all five colleges, meaning they are coed. There, students can find people with similar interests and hobbies. To say the least, students at Scripps are quite active and studious, and so the best scene for meeting people in a fun and relaxed atmosphere is at a party, whether private or school sponsored.
Dress Code
Scripps' dress is usually very casual; jeans and flip-flops are the common uniform. There is also a unique, creative flare at Scripps; students are not afraid to experiment and express themselves outside of the norm.
Did You Know?
