Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is understandable and definitely preferred comparatively to a university, still some extra fees along with online classes, labs, etc. can be strenuous.

Tuition & Financial Aid: FA office is HORRIBLE. they give inaccurate information and have no accountability. Don't waste your time keeping a call log of who and when you spoke with at the office as that will just create bigger hoops to jump through. Not only that when they send out denial letters they do not even pull up your record to make sure its not something you have already fixed or completed, just making the approval response delayed even longer. I have never had the office speak to me or offer out options for scholarships or other grants available. That is something you need to research yourself. This will be the 1st year I will approach them in regards to this area because I did not know you could qualify even if you were not an all A student, so i will have to come back and update how they help you through that process, but if its anything like the rest of my experience I am going to have to say it will be poor experience too

Tuition & Financial Aid: I was lucky enough to receive some financial aid via scholarships. However, it is difficult. I am a white middle class boy. Those traits limit the availability of monies.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Schoolcraft college is one of the lowest in cost. Its pretty awesome to have a financial aid office available to you, if you have any questions you can go there and they will either help you or find someone who can. If you need scholarships they will even help you search!

Tuition & Financial Aid: I find the financial aid process at times good and bad. Without financial aid I would not be able to be enrolled in school, its has helped a great deal. On the other hand the financial aid process can be very difficult and frustrating. I've found a few times that financial aid has not come in in time to start classes, then either I have to wait a semester, pay out of pocket and hope to get reimbursed, or take late starting classes. I've also found that financial doesn't cover all costs, such as supplies, books, and tuition.
