3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The scheduling can sometimes completely fail you and you have to restructure your entire class schedule for one class

Overall Experience: This school is a good school, it was personally very convenient for my check book and location.

Overall Experience: I just transferred into my Applied Science Program through Schoolcraft and it was easy, the counselor talked me through it and fixed it online.

Online Courses: I've taken only one online course through Schoolcraft and it went fairly well. The technology itself is a little slow but the course load and teacher help was adequate.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is a melting pot. Some classes have all fresh college students, some are mixed in with gray haired elderly and others with middle aged men/women. Most people are quiet, not many friendships to be started because its a commute college, people go to class and leave and often don't stay to socialize.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is understandable and definitely preferred comparatively to a university, still some extra fees along with online classes, labs, etc. can be strenuous.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The job prospects are pretty good, they use a wide variety of job fairs to try and help their students find work.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some classes are more personal than others, some want to share the information in an exciting way, some don't.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are all generally interested in getting through each semester, as is each student. The curriculum is adequate and offers a wide variety of classes and opportunities. The registration process is troubling, the entire WebAdvisor website is usually a nightmare. Special study options such as tutoring, counseling and essay help is all provided and useful.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have a great cafe with various food choices at any time of the day.

1 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would not choose this school again. I would pick one that had qualified teachers for the proper courses, as well as an administrative office that is accountable for what they say.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: Most classes are too full not allow time for teacher to explain if needed. most courses you do not learn anything valuable

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Online classes require 10x amount of work as traditional class

Tuition & Financial Aid: FA office is HORRIBLE. they give inaccurate information and have no accountability. Don't waste your time keeping a call log of who and when you spoke with at the office as that will just create bigger hoops to jump through. Not only that when they send out denial letters they do not even pull up your record to make sure its not something you have already fixed or completed, just making the approval response delayed even longer. I have never had the office speak to me or offer out options for scholarships or other grants available. That is something you need to research yourself. This will be the 1st year I will approach them in regards to this area because I did not know you could qualify even if you were not an all A student, so i will have to come back and update how they help you through that process, but if its anything like the rest of my experience I am going to have to say it will be poor experience too

Career Services: I have received a skills certificate from this school and when I went to look for a job they told me they do not honor Schoolcraft's certificates. When I went to the career service to see if they could help me and why I was being told by most they so not care for schoolcraft, they took that as I was personally insulting them not that it was employers telling me this information so they could use it to figure out what was going on

Academic Experience: I don't think all the teachers are qualified to teach the subjects they are teaching. I feel like most of the time they are short on teachers and will allow anyone to teach a course just to get the money. Trying to make the dean aware of unqualified teacher is pointless and they will not offer out any real solutions.

Academic Experience: I am very unhappy with a good majority of the professors, if you can even call them that. Registration is pretty easy because of course they just want your money. The workload in Math classes are crazy. I enjoy Math too but the amount of homework you have makes it impossible to keep up with other classes. Then receive a teacher that is not qualified to teach that course oh boy its the worst roller coaster ride you could ever imagine. Many classes require a $100 plus book that never even gets used which is very frustrating. The FA office is a joke, you will receive a different answer from each person with no accountability what so ever. Then we you go to prove who you have spoken to with date time name and short summary of info received and they will just require more hoops to jump through. I can NOT wait for the day I finally get to transfer and never think about this school again. When you take a look at the retention rate that should say enough about the school. I am guessing many are in the same boat as me; location is close to home, price is reasonable, and the amount of loans we are facing when we do transfer we are just trying to keep cost as low as possible. One thing I am truly getting worried about with the lack of qualified teachers, when we do transfer are we going to have enough knowledge to keep up at the university we chose???

Campus Resources: Never got involved with campus activities Library is very nice and the whole campus is in good shape as well

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have been able to get all of the class I needed/wanted. The web scheduler tool is so very helpful to see what possible schedules I have.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am learning so much. I feel confident that I will achieve my dream.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The chefs at Schoolcraft are top notch. They have quite a few Master Chefs working here.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The counseling department can get very busy at registration time. Sometimes it's hard to get a last minute appointment. You have to plan ahead.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I really like it at Schoolcraft. It is the perfect place for me.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is a large variety of people here at my school.
