4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is a great school

Overall Experience: Schoolcraft College is a very underrated place to learn. The faculty goes above and beyond in order to ensure that we LEARN the material, and not just pass the class. The campus is easy to manuever, walkable and clean. There are classes available day and night, year-round.

My personal experience was with the Schoolcraft Connection newspaper. It introduced me to new people, thoughts, and ideas. Part of the fun was the 2 trips we took for journalism award ceremonies. The newspaper helped me grow as a writer intellectually, and as a person.

I highly recommend Schoolcraft College to anyone and everyone!

Overall Experience: Schoolcraft is a great school, the student diversity is large, so it provides a great opportunity to meet new people. I have attended Schoolcraft for a year and a half now, and I have nothing bad to say about it. I have used Rate My Professor before registering for the courses I've taken so far, and all the reviews are in line with the experience I've had! The school is large enough to where you don't feel like you're still in high school, but small enough to get the individual attention that some students may need. Every instructor I've had, has been willing, upon request, to help before, during, and after class to make sure the students understand the material. The school puts on many seminars in relation to what is being taught in class (free of charge) to help students better understand what they are learning in the classrooms. They provide many resources, including free tutoring for every subject taught at Schoolcraft. This has been tremendous help to me. Schoolcrafts mission is to transfer you to a university and they offer many free programs to provide help with that. I will say, that you must stay motivated and prioritize your education before your social life. Many students at school craft do not take their education seriously. For me, the experience is what you make of it. If you are there to learn and stay focused on what is important, you will be very successful at Schoolcraft.

Online Courses: I've taken only one online course through Schoolcraft and it went fairly well. The technology itself is a little slow but the course load and teacher help was adequate.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is a melting pot. Some classes have all fresh college students, some are mixed in with gray haired elderly and others with middle aged men/women. Most people are quiet, not many friendships to be started because its a commute college, people go to class and leave and often don't stay to socialize.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is understandable and definitely preferred comparatively to a university, still some extra fees along with online classes, labs, etc. can be strenuous.

4 College Junior

Career Services: The job prospects are pretty good, they use a wide variety of job fairs to try and help their students find work.
