Overall Experience: Over the course of time I've been attending Schoolcraft, I've seen a lot of job fairs/ employers recruiting on campus. I do thinks this shows how much Schoolcraft is committed to finding and helping students find jobs in the field they study.

Online Courses: Online courses differ from traditional classes in a few ways. One is the professor student relationship can be more difficult then it other wise would be with fact to face interaction. It is not always easy to contact or truly understand what a professor is saying. Also the peer to peer interaction is very different when instead of talking opinions over face to face, your commenting on an message board.

Campus Resources: Campus resources are very good. Some of the resources offered to students for free are a top of the line gym with activities such as yoga, a basketball court, and full service gym. Also the student center offers students the chance to interact with one another and join clubs.

Academic Flexibility: The academic flexibility at Schoolcraft is very good. Some of the options for classes are night, morning, weekend, and once a week meeting classes. All these options make it very easy and convenient to work into your schedule.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I find the financial aid process at times good and bad. Without financial aid I would not be able to be enrolled in school, its has helped a great deal. On the other hand the financial aid process can be very difficult and frustrating. I've found a few times that financial aid has not come in in time to start classes, then either I have to wait a semester, pay out of pocket and hope to get reimbursed, or take late starting classes. I've also found that financial doesn't cover all costs, such as supplies, books, and tuition.

Academic Experience: The program I am aiming for is business management. Some of the aspects I like about this major is that I am learning different levels and job opportunities for the career field specific to me. Also the workload is more real life work problems instead of useless information that does not imply to my field of study.

Academic Experience: The academics offered at Schoolcraft are very good. Finding the right professor is key. The right professors help students with everything from homework to tests, and really want the student to succeed. They also never make the student feel as though they are asking a dumb question.

Student Body: A typical student at Schoolcraft College is a hardworking college kid. Usually spending every minute gaining knowledge and interacting with other students aiming at the same goal of graduating or transferring for a better career or job.

Academic Experience: I am honored to have been a student here at Schoolcraft.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There are many different people from many different backgrounds. Many different races, religions and sexual orientations.

Academic Flexibility: Loved having many options for online classes.

College Senior

Career Services: I haven't had to deal with this yet.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I wish that it'll become a campus for me to live on, because I can wake up and drive to the grocery store or go shopping and be able to go to my classes and enjoy my life there. It gets me excited just thinking about it.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Thus far, it has been a rough start, yet the professors are actually taking into the students. Instead of just seeing them as numbers, the students are being seen as actual human-beings. For as long as I have been in Middle School and High School, I have heard that professors treat students as just another number in their classes, when really they don't. That makes me feel excited not to be seen as just number, but a student with a disability that requires help and support.

Student Body: The students here are like a group of people that greet you, even if you don't say a word to start off the conversation - they still engage in conversation. I think that's very kind of them, since I never talk to anyone there - still they talk to me.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I haven' taken online classes, nor do I plan on doing so. However, I heard they're at satisfactory level from the students that do take some of their classes online.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The career services are wonderful, the handouts that are out in the open as you walk down the halls of any building you walk into - even outside are useful and resourceful.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Schoolcraft is like my home, the moment I took the tour with my High School counselor, I fell in love with schoolcraft and so did my mother. It's worth driving almost 30miles, just to get to my classes and to work or back home. The support there is awesome.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I love my major and minor career choices, and the classes I have to take for them are challenging, yet worth wild.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some teachers are hard to understand and learn from, but with the help of the disability office - rate my teacher.com, gave me great input on what teacher to look out for.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Thanks to the Detroit Scholarship Fund I am able to go to Schoolcraft without being debt. However, my dream is to become a grizzly at Oakland University. I need all the scholarships I can get in order to become a student at Oakland University.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taking any online classes

Academic Experience: I think its great because we don't do alot of work but the professors make sure we get it and they have a awesome CJ program they take you straight down a path to the Police Academy.
