Tuition & Financial Aid: sva is a major skinflint when it comes to scholarships, especially when evidence of the school rolling in major bank is shoved everywhere in our faces. art supplies are expensive and some teachers grade you down if you can't get the necessary supplies which can go into the hundreds

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is an expensive school but its located in an expensive city. The education is worth the price, in my opinion.

Tuition & Financial Aid: SVA is an expensive college to attend but is worth it. They have a great financial aid plan, although unfortunately international students do not qualify. There are some scholarships available for international students but again you need to be very lucky. In my case I pay full tuition and work part time at the SVA library. I have an international student status in school for now, but I'm hoping to get my residency soon to qualify for financial aid.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is very high for the things that we get. We should have better quality facilities and dorm rooms should be better built. Education is great, but facilities need improving such as editing labs. The way editing labs are set up makes it harder for students to learn in that class. Financial Aid is very difficult to receive.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think it's worth it because it's in NY and I am studying photography which I absolutely love. I love the professors I've met as well. The downside is it's so expensive for me and it's hard to pay for it with my family's financial situation. I was going to dorm but got very depressed and realized it was a lot of money so I got out of it. I only stayed for 10 days and I had to pay 10 percent of it. Huge rip-off. Also for doing payment plans I had to pay a fee which is ridiculous.
