4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I don't know, you have cool people and you have pretentious ones. I have good friends so I'm happy.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Everyone is an individual and has their own agenda for their work. Many, many different types of people.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There are lots of gay males. I wasn't looking to date though so I don't know much else. And coming from an art high school, I was used to that. Just put out feelers, I guess. If you want to hook up, be clear. If you want a something serious, be clear. If you're somewhere in between, just be clear about it. I don't know. You'll get a better idea once you get here. It's a mostly white student population. I'm a black female and I think we're probably the most scarce out of anybody. There are lots of Asian international students from various countries, though. There is a black student population but it's very small, which got to me a little bit. Most people dress how you'd expect art students to dress. Some don't. Some feel pressure to dress a certain way. I never did. Cause I didn't really care. I had trouble making friends but for personal reasons. Most students are interested in talking about their own art. Sometimes too much. But a lot of the time, it's nice talking about art because that's why you're there. It's a common link. My advice would be to just chill out and spend time with your art. Don't worry too much about friends or romance. The right people will stick around if you're patient. Plus, you ain't spending 50,000 dollars a year to hang out with people you don't like.
