The first place national winner has their art made into the next Federal Junior Duck Stamp, wins $5,000 and travels with a parent to the next First Day of Sale event for their stamp. The second place winner receives $3,000, and the third place winner receives $2,000. A $500 prize is also awarded to the best conservation message.
