Off-Campus Dining

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus dining spots are mainly fast food. The cost is reasonable and it is very convenient because they are not far from the school. If it is a nice day outside you could walk to one of the restaurants. I honestly like the restaurant called Carey Hillards. It is a sea and soul food place. It is only in Savannah and it is a family owned restaurant but there food is amazing. Student discounts are mainly at McDonalds or some well known fast food place but I have not received any.

Off-Campus Dining: There's plenty to eat here in Savannah. I have no idea about the vegan options, because I am very far from being a vegan. The seafood restaurants are superb, because many of the fish are local.

Looking for lunch or even some midnight grub? There are many locations to eat at off campus, from down the street to downtown, McDonald's to Chinese food. There is much variety—especially in regards to fast food.

The distance of the eating establishments from the University isn't bad, although the only restaurants within walking distance are a seafood joint and a Chinese spot. Many locations are open until 1 a.m. or even 24 hours. The prices are not inflated, so it's regular-priced food. There are no kosher or vegetarian locations, but Piggly Wiggly, which is down the street from SSU, has a kosher section in its grocery store, and it also has sushi. Downtown Savannah has many eating locations, but seafood is in abundance, considering you're right next to the ocean.
