Campus Housing: I do not live on campus and have never lived on campus, but looking at my friends' dorms, I can say that only few dorms are the best while others are not.

Campus Housing: Many times the reality is that it's cheaper to live off campus but if you have to rely on local bus systems and have no car your hands are pretty much tied and you have to stay at your best bet on campus. All freshman dorms are pretty much the same. If you get stuck with 2 other roommates though it can feel kind of cramped. The upperclassmen apartment type dorms are the best option but they are the most expensive. I live in the Terrace and while it's pretty decent and in a nice part of town it's the farthest away from class buildings so unless you have a car expect roundabout school bus routes that take almost an hour out of the day back and forth. The housing process is pretty easy.

Campus Housing: The campus is safe and some how near the classes.it is very simply made.It has a good view in alluring area.the best thing about the dorm is its quietness and single bedroom facility and the worst thing is that it is far from supermarkets and the library and the computer labs... most of the amenities are in other dormitories

Campus Housing: Housing depends on where you live. I'm a freshman and I live in Turner house annex. We have bad plumbing but every problem we've had gets fixed the next day. We also have our own pool and basically giants m guaranteed parking. We're also close to the bus lot. Turner annex is going to be for upperclassmen next year. The whole campus is spread apart so the dorms are only close to classes depending on your major and schedule so pick your housing and schedule strategically. Social atmosphere- depends on the people you choose to hang around your first couple of weeks. My next door has literally become my best friend and it's amazing the kind of people you meet at art school because everyone has a lot in common. The housing process is extremely easy. You can contact housing and they'll immediately respond next day with any issues you have with room placement. Cost wise housing is expensive and in some cases more expensive than living off campus but if you're on scholarship then choosing to live off campus will cause you to lose scholarship money. Truthfully Savannah isn't entirely safe so living on campus offers campus security and safety. I've visited other schools and seen their housing and scad provides more space. Plus no community bathroom! One bathroom per room which houses two people. Housing, overall and just like scad, is what you make of it.
